OK, to help everyone plan their trips to beautiful BEER CITY, USA (and to help keep the music discussion in the other thread), here's where we'll discuss the social details & what not.
ROLL CALL:
CONFIRMED*: (either for the festiVAL or just the weekend festiFUN)
LODGING: Who needs a room? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller???? Some of us have space available in our rooms @ Downtown Inn. It's currently booked (or so we've heard), so ask around if you need to split w/someone.
If you don't have a reservation yet, here are the most popular lodging places:

***It looks like we'll have 40+ at Brunch, so as the date approaches, pleeeeeease let me know how many in your party will actually attend. The dudes @ AVL Brewing are stoked to host us, but a proper headcount will help them serve us better. kthnx
Received my tickets in the mail yesterday so, I guess I have no choice but [put] my hand in the air and dance my booty off. *and also buy a plane ticket unless any folks are coming through from the Northeast to NC?

Woohoo! My friend, Julia, just bought a ticket too!! She has no plans as far as hotel and such, but I told her we probably could help her out with that.. my room might be full though. She's awesome and trustworthy, so anyone that has a spot...

Don't stress too much about hotel rooms, there will always be floor space with so many of us having reserved rooms. Tronik said he is in, in the other thread. OH and <GEEKSQUEAL> I'm excited again!

Heck yeah Moogfest!!! Count me in for brunch too. I'm splitting a room with duddits at the Downtown Inn as LD mentioned. There might be room for one or two more to crash on the floor if you bring something to sleep on.
Can anyone pick me up from the airport in Atlanta? So far the cheapest direct fares from Denver are headed there. I can get a flight that gets in at 4:40PM.

I'd also like to add up in this Logistics thread - some COSTUMING ideas. So here's what. We have 3 nights to get costumed out. One of those nights, a fair amount of us have thought of going FULL PANDA. Since we all come in various shapes and sizes and with varying enthusiasm for the FULL PANDA - I had an idea. I am doing a prototype for a panda hood. It can be cutsie for the ladies, and you know, MANLY for the dudes (i.e. no hearts). And then I suggest - a black and white baseball-T, with something like "Inforoo Panda Posse" on maybe the lower right hip. And then your Inforoo name on the back. Just one color - black - so the printing would be cheap. (i'll do some research on it) Then you can rock your hood, your t, and jeans. BOOM - panda'ed. IF you'd like to add a black tutu - WITH TAIL - then you know, I've got that covered. and... if you'd like to paint your face, then so be it, but no one is obligated. Soooooo it'd be comfy, to your size, and warm (I seem to recall a bit of frost in the air last year), and yet - we are still a Panda Posse.
