beebee I'm curious to hear your review for the strangers.
i really enjoyed the first one, but this was just fine. i didn't love the ending, and that part was pretty dragged out. it's nice and short though (especially compared to watching red sparrow a few nights ago), so a fun watch if you're not expecting too much.
I'm pretty much in love with about 10 minutes of this movie. The rest is mediocre. The pool scene is banging. Like, it's a perfect slasher throwback scene. The Air Supply sequence is just so absurdly over the top that I'm giving it a pass. They tried real hard, Beebee.
I recommend people just watch those two scenes on Youtube.

Doing a double feature of movies with batshit crazytown 3rd acts. I've also seen several different critics recommend Kill List as simular to Hereditary. Which I didn't get at first but,yeah, it's there. Either way, I've never been afraid to tell folks to watch Kill List.
