another small fest in Suwannee FL on FEB 15-17th. announced two headlining shows from: Papadosio, Conspirator, Perpetual Groove, and Heavy Pets. no ticket info yet, but it moved from St. Cloud FL last year and tickets were <$60 for the weekend. full lineup says it should be out in "fall"

If it's $60 again I will highly consider going, although the drive is a bit much for me. Not sure if it's quite worth the 7 hour drive yet. But Conspirator and Papdosio at the beautiful Suwanee is pretty tempting
Would love to make this festival, it is rather soon though and a far drive for me. Seems like a solid lineup though and very affordable! I <3 me some Break Science too and have never seen them live. Here's a nice little video on the current lineup. Stevie Wonder tribute sounds like fun, 2x Dosio is awesome, and just stellar all around lineup. If you guys haven't seen DrFameus he's pretty cool, too! Got to catch him at CounterPoint this past year. Anyways, have fun for all those that do get the chance to make it down for this one!! Hopefully I'll see you there or possibly the next Bear Creek if anything.
scrog, was just going to post this. think the schedule confirms it. no conflicts, and possibly the last perpetual groove set ill ever see, since they are going on hiatus in april. after bear creek i dont think i can say no
No you don't. It's amazing the amount of bands that play Atlanta and hang a right, and head toward Birmingham or Texas. We miss out on a lot of stuff. A. LOT.
I wished I lived closer to the south as well. Live Oak gets a lot of really good festivals. I also made some friends down in the Daytona Beach area that go to these a lot. I saw Papadosio last month but would love to make the trip just for some P. Groove and Break Science! Haven't seen Perpetual Groove since All Good a few years ago and I've never seen Break Science.
I haven't seen P-Groove in a while, either, and I always seem to have something conflicting whenever they're in town. And of course they had a date scheduled here at Howlin' Wolf before their hiatus and had to cancel.
Yeah, I'm a little irritated that they canceled here a week ago, but I'm glad I caught their thursday set at bear creek. Jelly about these Kung Fu sets the most.
Yo! Any Last minute decision makers deciding on going to Aura Music & Arts Festival, February 15th – 17th, 2013 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. Break Science will join Papadosio, Conspirator (Official), Perpetual Groove, The Heavy Pets, Dopapod, RAQ, Kung Fu - that's exciting. Jeff Bujak will also be thereto with the "Club Bujak" late night experience.
So sad about P. Groove! I've been to a few of their shows, wish I could make it down there for this! I'm from KY, so I have to pick and choose my battles this festy season. It's going to be a great year.
On the brink of buying my ticket. I just have to secure a ride from Pensacola first! Bear Creek 2012 was my first time at Suwanee and I cannot wait to go back. Especially for this lineup!
Well this was a FUN time! and I will be back. P Grove was awesome! Kung Fu and Nigel Hall doing a tribute to Stevie Wonder was an amazing set! Nice job on that one guys. Someone upgraded the light show on the Amiphtheater. It looks like GLO has donated their lasers or someone got some like them, because there was a "ceiling" of light over the crown from those lasers. This will not be the last I have seen or talk about them. They need to be a staple on that stage.
The COLD was not good though. Too COLD! (23F on Saturday night ) It has me feeling like ASS, but SOSMP does what it does and we have no control over that.
