they have become one of my favorite bands in the last month or so. i would kill to see them at bonnaroo, or anywhere else for that matter. they do some really interesting stuff. i love zach hill.

These guys were really quacking fun at Moog. very, very rowdy show. Also the only show I saw at the Orange Peel where it felt like the floor of the place was literally about to implode on itself. I approve of this thread.
my report: got kicked out of the orange peel before Death Grips started.
Their security was not quacking around at the Peel. It was pretty funny watching Killer Mike tell the entire crowd to light up their weed while at the same time there's 10 different Orange Peel guys walking around escorting all the smokers out. Another security dude threatened to kick my brother out for going too hard at Death Grips.

Me and Abra got in trouble for having water bottles with us, even though we walked in with them in our hands. The guy at the bar was going to make us throw them away but then we asked if we could pour them into cups instead. Somehow that was agreeable.
I'm way in for this Thursday Night. I liked The Money Store way better that NLDW, but they are both really good. I really curious to see their live show in person.
saw them on tuesday night and they were incredible live. so much energy on the stage and in the crowd. zach hill slayed his kit. he played a half acoustic half electronic set-up with no acoustic cymbals. it was insane. praying that they play this year preferably at night. their light show as very dark and made everything more chaotic.
Seriously, nobody go to this so I can get a great spot.
This is a total backfire. I tried and tried but I just couldn't get into the Death Grips. I wanted to like them, they were playing at Moog last year (but in retrospect I'm glad I didn't get into them before that because my heart was already broken at the sight of the line for BMSR outside of the OP) but for some reason I just wasn't getting it.
Then you went and posted that video. And I watched it. Now I'm probably going to have to come and crowd your space at get down to some of this.
