Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I think Bonnaroo could use a late night Dieselboy session.
But also bring in some more "IDM" like Squarepusher or Autechre (I wish). Some cool atmospheric stuff for those of us non-booty shakers to zone out to.

Tents Only shrinking really isn't an issue. I thought I was in Tents Only this year... turns out it ended up being a car camping spot. I was next to a bunch of peeps who just brought tents, but then also has direct neighbors who had cars. If you want to do tent only, just pick a spot anywhere... they're not gonna ask you to move once your tent is staked and there's a few camping spots already down.
I went to this tiny festival called Gypsy Pow Wow back in September, and they had three different dj's going on at the same time. The headphones had a little switch so you could change who you were listening to. Also, one of the late night silent disco artists was an actual band.

Not true. TO campin' has been shrinkin' over the years and it is an issue. While 2012 was my first year at Camp Inforoo in Tent Only, I've stumbled past the TO area fer many a year. And Camp Inforoo only continues to grow. We take up a lot of space but try to be conservative fer ourselves and neighbors.
But we also have to be mindful of our friends who fly in from across the globe and camp in Tent Only because they can't bring a lot of things with them.
I don't know much about it (as most of my non/semi 'Roo companions are lame and have fallen out of it), but the GROOP Campin' sounded like it worked out well this past summer, and if I could get enough friends together to do it it's be great.
Anyway...drunk post endin', Tent Only is important and needs to not shrink any more, but grow back to it's size it previous years.

Programs, more programs. I know this has been an issue in the past but this last year was my first and it was my only big complaint. I looked for one all 4 days and you know when i got one?
When I was leaving Centeroo Sunday night for the final time which was funny considering my on going search all 4 days.
I would gladly pay for one if they were available for purchase.
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

Ha, I paid $10 for a printed out daily schedule from the tshirt vendor at Counterpoint. I swear they literally had 100 schedule booklets for the 30,000 people that showed up.
Better phone reception, for the love of God, BETTER PHONE RECEPTION!!! Trying to get ahold of my friends and family that I was meeting up with was impossible. I didn't even get to see my brother the entire time because my calls wouldn't even go through
From what I've heard (read) that problem has nothing to do with Bonnaroo, and more to do with cell phone companies. I don't know the details, but I sure wish that was fixed as well. We have the technology for all of us to have a computer/phone in our pockets, but when too many people get together, none of them work??? Doesn't seem right in my head.
I am not sure how much it cost but they can bring in temp towers to help with reception. They do it here during the NASCAR races out in Kansas City, KS because there are an extra 150,000 people not normally in that area so reception is terrible otherwise. I imagine it cannot be cheap though.

I worked the tollbooths last year they pretty much plan 2 books per car we ran out cuz every individual wanted one. VIP people you cant say no to regarding extra books. I had to constantly ask for more boxes of books cuz our tollbooth ran out an hour after every shipment hope the problem gets corrected for every1.

2008 was the worst experience I've had in my six years tryin' to get a booklet/program. Finally got one Saturday night and lost it Sunday mornin' (what I would do fer a 2008 book to complete my set!). 2011 they were also in kinda short supply.
I shouldn't HAVE[/b][/u] to pay fer a booklet. It should be included in the damn ticket price. Why would you not print up close to one copy per ticket sold? It makes no sense. I'd rather a booklet/program be sent along with the ticket. I believe Coachella does this.

I mean, I want Tent Only to grow back to its original glory, and was pretty pissed this past year to find out that it had shrunk even more. But if it stopped existing... there is nothing stopping you from tenting in a car camping area. Even if you don't have a car. That's what I did. Most of my neighbors were also "tents only", and we were in Camp Adrian.

Bonnaroo always has plenty of books printed. It's just that the distribution of them all around is terrible. If one car/line going in runs out they don't hold the line up and it can take a long time to get a bunch more delivered to that spot. There should be way more/better organization on this front IMO because even though I haven't ever had a problem I know it's a common complaint with a lot of people.
I do like that they started posting schedules up around Centeroo but there should also be a spot to grab a spare booklet if you weren't given one coming in.

I'd be fine with the return of the Lunar Stage, as long as they control the volume. If you happened to be on the right side of This Tent or the left side of The Other Tent then you were screwed. ESPECIALLY during the daytime when the volume was cranked even though nothing substantial was happening. They Might Be Giants was being drowned out by Green Day Rock Band, for example.
Also I miss the Sonic Forest and the percussive scrap metal from '05 with sticks tied to various parts.

I am really having to stretch to think of things to improve. I genuinely thought it was amazingly well-organized and put-together this year.
1. There was a lot of confusion about the Cinema Tent and tickets when I was there. When I asked around, I was told I needed tickets for the bigger shows (although I couldn't find out WHERE they were giving them out), but that I could just queue for the smaller shows. Not even the people working/volunteering at the cinema tent seemed to know what was going on and I never did find out what shows had tickets and where to get them. So please let everyone know WHAT method they need to follow to get into shows and how to do so!
2. More shade trees close to the stages/tents. Particularly The Other Tent.
3. Better lighting between Pod 10 and Pod 11. Also, please post the different hours for the Pod 11 amenities if they are not the same as the rest. I walked over there the first night for a shower only to find them closed because they didn't have a large crowd.
4. Perhaps more of those urinal troughs? After large shows, I saw a lot of guys peeing on the walls around the port-a-pots instead of IN them. Uber nasty.
I'm def one of those guys who pisses anywhere after it get dark. Whether that be on the back wall of the What Stage lawn, or beside a tent, or behind the food trucks.

Guilty? :-\
Ditto. I'll pee on literally anything. I figure I'm being considerate by reducing the line for the ladies.
