Hey. Not like I'm going to Bonnaroo to get laid or anything, I'm there for the music (it'll be my third Roo) but I was just wondering if there was a gay community there. A hangout of sorts? IDK. Just wonderin'.

Really, there is no way to tell (unless your a super obvious flaming homosexual). and there is not a 'gay spot'. Someone made the assumption on here last year that gay people like disco, so that mean we will all congragate to the disco arcade. Not the case. I guess the only way to tell is to wear a shirt that says 'I'm a gay man at Bonnaroo, are you'?? lol. Get ready to be overwhelmed at the degree of hot men folk at bonnaroo. . . . if your type is men with beards that is . . . .

hey. just figured id reply since i happen to be gay and ill be attending bonnaroo for my first time this summer. ironically enough my older brother is gay as well and will be attending too. we're both really big pearl jam and sigur ros fans. i love jack johnson, against me!, and a few others as well...
Karma is given or smited away. sometimes people tell you when they give it to you. generally they dont tell you when they take it away. it refreshes once an hour. and you dont get penalized for your karma rating. I'd give you a point but mine isnt refreshed yet.

I have never really noticed anything "gay" oriented at roo before, well let me say I didn't see a rainbow booth with purple lights on it or anything. And before anyone goes smiting me for that, please note that I am a lesbian.
This year Teagan & Sara are there as well as LEZ Zepplin, so, you know...
sorry if my post ("Gayaroo") was offensive... i did try to replicate an equal rights sticker ( |=| ) like i see on cars all the time, but i guess that didn't come through as i planned. my apologies and awesome name dude! i won't be at roo this year either!

On another note. I'm not gay but I think gay people are nice. Last year I saw a couple of gays. They had on these really tight and short cotton shorts. One guy had on lime green ones and the other guy had on navy...both had a white stripe going down the side. Did anyone else see them? If I was a gay I would be looking for people that wear stuff like this.

i know a lot of gay women who are going. mann i wish i had seen the dudes in the tiny jogging shorts that sounds GREAT! that was a good show anyhow.
there are a lot of other groups at roo - so - its cool that you started this thread. however, i assure you that it will be a cool environment. you may be able to connect wtih some other folks by this post.

If you had that much karma with that number of posts, you either have by far the best posts on Inforoo or must have gotten them the same way you lost them, some kind of glitch

Not to get off subject, but I started a thread about not getting in the pond at Bonnaroo and several people gave me karma for the warning. It may have been a glitch like you said though. Thanks for your insight.
