Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Scrog, we're practically twins in those pics And apparently he likes black
I'm going to start working on logistics soon.. so I will look at Jacksonville, Atlanta and Tampa as possible airports. Any rules on any? For example, Hakuna- in order to Tampa to work, I assume you would want me there by the time you leave (since you might be leaving early) or arrive at a similar time to your friend. Y'all need to give me your ifs/buts and other preferences PS. Love you all for offering
PS. I'm still looking for a cuddle buddy there! I'd prefer not to have to fly a tent down in addition to everything else I'll need. And if I do bring mine down, it would be HUGE for just me.
Tampa is about a midpoint for me, bout 3 hours from Wanee I beleive. So basically any time where we could still arrive at the fest at a decent time. And basically just following Surfbums sentiments on the way home. You can check Ft. Myers airport too, as its right down the street, but just include another 3 hours of travel into consideration.
I would also appreciate being added to the FB group. Never been a part of any inforoo groups but this setting & music really fit me. Not a "moocher" by any means and make a darn good grilled pepperoni n cheese!
I think you have to be friends with one of us to get added. If you like pm me your info and I'll add you.
Were there any artist additions the last two years?? The lineup looks kinda small, especially compared to 2011. I don't mind longer sets in any way shape or form, but I want Gary Clark Jr. at the park!! The possibility of him sitting in with ABB give me goosebumps.

Yeah I agree. There are a couple of gaping holes. No electronica /jamtronica and no Americana. They need some Punch Brothers and STS9 or reasonable substitutions for both. Compared to last year it seems light, and from 2011 to 2012 it seemed light. I don't know what they're doing this year, but whatever. I'm still going and still will have a great time.
Hello Wanee folk! We have a quick announcement and then we will let you get back to your regular scheduled activities.
Wellbalancedmusic, we heard you might have been born for this fest and you might like the line up? Well we were not the only ones to hear that and we are only the message deliver. This happened and then that happened and if you can get to Spirit Of the Suwanee Music Park a few days before 4/20, then a ticket has been gifted and will be waiting for you. You will be happy dancing on The Short-Cut Through the Looking Glass trail as you jam under the Spanish moss covered Oak trees of northern Florida. Celebrate 4/20 with friends, ABB, Alice, Wanee and the SOSMP. ;D
I'm covering my the receptionist's lunch right now (aka I can sit and play on the internet). I'm playing with flights, so hopefully I should have things set in stone soon!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

It should be a fun fest. I don't know about best Wanee lineup ever. When I look back at the past three years a few acts I would have loved to see at SOS include Robert Plant, Buddy Guy, The Black Keys, and Stephen Stills. Hope you can make it, Jess.

Maceo Parker, Electric Hot Tuna, and Greyboy AllStars make this really something in my book.
Last year was packed, seemed more than the year before and I was expecting that this year, but I am hoping with the so-called "lack of a great" line up, (I love the line up and the funk it holds )the crowd will be a little less this year.

Ok, this is a long shot, but I figure I'll put it out there:
I'll be flying into Orlando on Wed, April 17, and flying out on Sunday, April 21. If anyone's flight schedule just happen to coordinate up with that, we could share a rental car, save us some money. Just lemme know

How is that lack of a great lineup?
You have to ask them. Some people were calling for Neil Young or Eric Clapton or SCI, all of which I would love to see at Wanee, but they would also bring a lot of people to SOSMP. Then again, maybe Claypool and Franti pull in big numbers, I do not know, but I think with this line up, the crowd size will not increase like it has the past years. That is a good thing.

I think you're right Scrog, as great of a lineup it is missing an 'it' factor band for casual fans. I think a lot of people on the fence expecting the usual and hoping for 1 or 2 large acts to push them over didn't get it.

Here's a map from last year that shows where Scrog's "Short-Cut Camp" is (Alice in Wonderland is going to be sooooo awesome!).
Jim, Cindy, Alice, Jeff, (and a few more) will be over in The Loop this year, in #68A. Right where the "t" in the Meet and Greet text lies. I've never yet made it to the Meet and Greet, but I plan to this year! It is on Thursday at high noon.
It looks solid to me, I'll be scooping up tickets.
If I make it we will have to meet up I have not seen you since that time in Atlanta 3 years ago man.
For sure. I've been to quite a few shows lately but not many in ATL. We saw YMSB last week in St. Pete which was really solid and Galactic in Jax which was also a great show. Mo and I went to Bear Creek this year and had a great time so we're thinking about Coachella and Wannee his spring. Wannee is a certainty, I hope we get to hang out. It sounds like Scrog always has a good setup out there, I'm going to make it by this time for sure.
