I'm wondering where they'll do it. I cant imagine they'll be able to get Grant Park for two festivals. If they go to Union Park it'll be limited to like 10 or 12k people I think. If they go to Washington Park it's not going to be in a location people are going to be thrilled about commuting to.

They had an EDM fest in June in Soldier Field last year right? I'm thinking this takes over that. Probably in May.

They can have a decent size fest there. They used to have the country music festival there and it held a decent sized crowd. The year I went Taylor Swift headlined.
My best girlfriend just shared that she isn't going to Roo because she is going to EDC in Chicago. Young girls these days... So stupid. Oh well, more goodies for the rest of my group to share!
From what I've read it's happening Memorial Day weekend as it's supposedly replacing Future Sound Dance Music Festival which was going to be held that weekend in Toyota Park.

Joliet is a shit hole with nothing going for it except river boat casinos. Plus it's about an hour drive from the city if you're lucky. What a missed opportunity if that's the case.
Maybe they'll do it where they did Wavefront musicfest, which was on Montrose beach. Not sure how that was set up or the capacity, but if that's the case I'm walking there everyday
