Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
So, what folk/americana acts do you want to see play Bonnaroo this year? There's been a huge recent new folk movement, and I'd love that to be reflected this year at the farm.
Your picks?
Mine are:
The Avett Brothers (New album is so good) Mumford & Sons (Again, friggen great new album, and they weren't there last year) The Tallest Man on Earth The Lumineers Josh Ritter (This needs to happen. Seriously.) Glen Hansard Justin Townes Earle Damien Rice
Ever since somebody on here suggested them on the Country thread, I've been kinda obsessed with Shovels and Rope. My biggest wish for this year.
I love them too and was going to see them at a REALLY small local place. They actually set up some chairs in the front foyer of an old house and musicians play in the crook of of staircase. It fits 40ish people and is as close as having an artist in your living room as you'll ever get.
BUT, they backed out last second because a "better offer" appeared. I'm not saying that I would not see them if if I had the chance, but that certainly leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Maybe some good news for Josh Ritter fans! He's releasing a new album in March that was just announced today, and there is a nice gap in the tour dates between his US and European tours. He's got all of June clear. I hope to hell that means he's coming to the farm.
And if you're not a Josh Ritter fan- what the hell is wrong with you?

I really like the sound of this! (And the Northampton stop on his tour)

Amy Helm would be AMAZING also, can't believe I forgot her.
I'd love to see an Amy Helm led Superjam tribute to Levon. Helm, Buddy Miller and Jason Isbell on guitar, Amanda Shires on fiddle, Cody Dickinson on drums, Amy LaVere on bass, and whatever performer feels like showing up on vocals.
