Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Bonnaroo is june 13-16 Firefly is june 21-23. I live on the East coast and will be attending both fest(I actually bought my firefly tix in the pre sale before the date annoucement). Last year Firefly was in July. With vacation time and what not this kinda sucks. I still will make it work cause I have tix to both but kinda feel like venting.... Anyone else in my predicament.
Not so much a predicament, since I wasn't really planing on returning to Firefly unless the line up was absolutely amazing. This totally rules it out for me though, since it is also the same weekend as Solid Sound. 2 weekends in a row with a bunch of Inforoo'ers, no predicament there!
I may go to firefly after bonnaroo for a saturday trip if the lineup is worth it. I'll be travelling from Philly too
I think Firefly moved it up this year so they could ride Bonnaroo coattails by scooping up a bunch of the same acts. My hope is that one can see tons of stuff at Bonnaroo, skip some of the bigger ones if they conflict, and then catch them at Firefly with a smaller crowd the next week.
I've done Mountain Jam and Roo back to back twice now. I imagine many will be doing Roo -> Solid Sound.
Just budget and utilize your time off from work wisely.
Oh yeah don't get me wrong I will make it work I was just venting...I can take off work even if its unpaid but I would like getting paid. Who know maybe I will love back to back fest! I certainly hear others say how great it is.
Correction: Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, and Firefly all back to back... I did all three last year, guess I'm gonna have to make some decisions this year.

Damn Court... you should've told me you started this lmao. As far as riding Bonnaroo's coattails, I don't think that's so much the case; rather, they are trying to stay closer to the races that come to Dover Downs in the earlier part of June, simply so that they can use some of the same equipment (i.e. porta-potties, not sure if that's a good idea, ice machines, medical facilities, camper facilities, etc.). I know that it was a huge inconvenience last year to take everything down from the races only to bring it right back in for Firefly.

Yeah I know there is a logical reason kray It just sucks they started the festival in june and then push back a month so should I always expect to be in june now. So I have to pretty much acrue every second of vaca time and spend it all in june

I'm kinda excited about Firefly and Mountainjam being close to roo. I live in NY and might not be able to take the time off to make the trip to Tennessee this year so im hoping for some spill over acts. I cold do both firefly and MJ with out taking off from work. 1 small fest + 1 small fest = 1 big fest. Right
