2. Crabs catching Zs on the beach: 7 syllables, they're sleeping, even the line illustrating the left eye and continuing to the mouth looks like a Z, all represents two redheaded dudes (crabs) named ZZ.
3. Where the pavement bakes: on TOP, obviously.

The "two crabs walking on the beach" line was someone's guess from the first page on the assumption that such an ambiguous clue should be translated as literally as possible. I don't know if it was ever confirmed that that was the actual line.
Since their eyes are definitely closed, my guess is "crabs catching Zs on the beach," despite the fact that they're moving. It is a little self-serving to my theory, but I'm sticking by it since the other parts of the clue match up so well to ZZ Top!

I don't think this actually affects anything, but just thought I would point out that you guys have been working with "two by two they come" but according to bonnaroo.com the first line is "two by two they go." Doesn't seem like that would make a difference, though, at least not to the logic of our current guess(es).

Right, I see it now that you edited your previous post to include the picture.
You're looking at it literally. I'm not. Multiple people in this thread have made references to the markings on the shell and the way they look like a face or a facial "expression." Given how stupidly cryptic all of these clues are, I don't think it's that ridiculous to look at the pictures this way.
Even if I'm way off base for the way I'm looking at this picture, my guess isn't as stupid as you're making it seem. When someone says guess this Bonnaroo act and the hints are essentially "crab" and "duo", my first instinct is ZZ Top, a rock group that would easily fit in at Bonnaroo, whose stars are two identical looking dudes famous for their crazy reddish-orange beards.
I will guess Japandroids for every clue from here on out to avoid ruffling feathers.

So for the clue to work, we have to believe that ZZ Top is a duo and that moving cardboard crabs with open eyes are sleeping?????
I'm sure that's what the clue givers had in mind.

I've seen more speculative posts get picked apart less. And even the good guesses have their weaknesses. ZZ Top formed out of Houston, a bay city with beaches, but we're so sure the crabs represent Animal Collective because they're from Maryland...

If you look at ZZ Tops tour dates it looks very unfriendly to Roo. Not sure why everyone is so convinced
Not that I think or hope that ZZ Top will end up going to Bonnaroo (please be Animal Collective), but the tour dates don't rule them out very much. They'd play the 16th, at the latest, and can then be in France by the 18th, easily. The next closest date is May 25th in the USA.
i try to look at the smaller details in the video for the second bonarro hint. the first line seems to indicate that the band will be a duo. the last line "while pavement brakes" could possible mean that its a "ground braking band". the video however is what seems to stumping people. most people seems to take the crabs and beach as an animal or ocean themed banned but i looked at if differently. in astronomy the sign of cancer is the crab. after a little bit of searching i didnt really find any ground braking duos with cancer. i did how ever stumble across musician,producer and guitarist niles Rodgers, who in 2010 was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Now niles isnt incredible ground braking nor is he a duo of any sort so i dint think to much of it until i looked into his future projects. Rodgers has started working with a group on there much anticipated new album that will be releasing soon, and what better place to unveil the new project than bonnaroo? My prediction based on the second clue would have to be the ground braking due that Rodgers is collaborating with, Daft Punk!
