I know, I know...but these things are just so damn fun.
I took one of the cheap eBay green-light pointers to Dust-A-Roo a couple of years back, and it was spectacular what with all the dust in the air, but it burned out inside of a half-hour. Can anyone recommend/provide links to a decent-quality one that's not, like $80 or $200 or whatever? One they have personal experience with? I realize this subject gets discussed every so often, but I made a new thread because I'd appreciate links to pointers at current prices.
I like the kaleidoscope lens feature, too -- it's nice to cast a big glittery wheel of delight on whatever catches your interest.
