If you're like me and own a Honda Odyssey from 2003 or 2004, there's a huge recall out now for ignitions. Posting here because the possible outcome of the problem can be that the vehicle pops out of gear while parked and can start rolling. My VERY first thought when hearing about the recall was, "how many times have I camped RIGHT behind my Odyssey at festivals, especially Roo?" The thought gave me shivers.
Anyway, I've missed lots of recalls before and wanted to spread the word. I swear every other car on the road is EXACTLY like mine (seriously, its got to be one of the most common cars on the road and a great camping vehicle) so I wanted to spread the word. Apparently Honda dealerships will have parts to fix the problem starting in February and will do it free of charge. Get that switch replaced before Roo!

and it was for all Honda's. I had an 03 Accord and that i sold years ago and they sent me the notice.
Interesting! I just heard about the specific Odyssey recall in December, and wouldn't've known at all if I hadn't caught it on the radio and I never got any info. Either way, the dealer told me they won't have the parts to fix it til February so now is definitely the time to think about it
