Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I am going to be very honest here for a minute. There is probably one percent of the people on here who would out right refuse at least one total access weekend at bonnaroo if it were the same price as GA or even VIP If that! I know I would take it. Just sayin!
The other groups i met mostly kept to themselves, except for one group that could keep up with any college group.
This will be my 10th Roo, 3rd in Roll like a Rock star. I am pretty sure I know the group oneandtwenty is referring too:-)
Best experience imaginable. Roo was already my favorite place on Earth, the Rock Star access just makes it that much better. The farm was always a place to disconnect from the world, the amenities remove that little bit of stress and magnify the fun. No worry about lines, or spots, or energy to get from one place to the next, or food, or drink, or bathrooms...all is covered right at your fingertips. Ultimately I am there for the music, but my body sure appreciates the luxeries (offsets all the debaucery).
Its not so much the access for the tents (I am happy out in the crowd for those), the two stage access areas right in the middle, up front, with room to dance and breathe, and a cooler full of water and beer, and easy in/out to upscale a/c bathrooms are simply priceless. And since I love to dance, not having to wait in line for the silent disco is even a nice treat (I simply wouldn't be able to enjoy it if I had to wait in an hour+ line at night). Same for the comedy tent, I wouldn't even think about missing music for comedy formerly, but now can easily drop in on a top comedian without having to think about lines and such. Check out some of my other posts for more info about the Rock Star experience, different but fantasitc.
Yes, it is freaking expensive....but it is worth every penny. It is all in what YOU make of it. It may be the last year my group can afford it, but I will relish once again come June.
I'll tell you one thing that helped me prepare for Bonnaroo in order to make the most of it last year was those fucking playlists you made downloadable last year. Any chance you're gonna be doing this again? Really enjoyed them, and I feel like I owe you a beer maybe?

I will certainly be making new Bonnaroo mixes this year, will just be a bit delayed. First my laptop died then I lost 2 external hard drives back to back to back, so painful. My iTunes has been completely out of commission for the past 2 months and I may have lost a year of progress. But my new laptop arrives next week, so hopefully I will be back up and running soon.
There will be some rediculously good music to mix, I have 53 artists I am excited about before doing any research into the lineup. And we don't even have the first set of artist additions yet.
At any rate, glad you enjoyed the mixes and I can't wait to make some more:-) Was just listening to Part 1 the other day, good memories.
Oh, and a pool would be a nice touch for sure. If they would only pipe the live music from some of the stages, I would be all over it. They really need to get the music playing back at carosel in general, I have to force myself to leave centeroo to go get something to eat. As good as the gourmet chow is (nice vegan selections even), you have to pry me away from music.

i feel your pain! My laptop bit the dust about two months ago, and my girlfriends lap top is not capable of performing up to the standards I require. Looking into a Mac pretty soon tho. And yeah, I've probably spent $400+ on iTunes because of this years like up. So solid!

I think I might be coming to my first roo with the group you guys say could hang like a college crowd last year. I'm an old fart but I should be able to make a good showing. Any advice? Coming up from New Orleans. Thanks all!
