I had an idea in another thread and figured I would clean it up. People need shade right and a place to cool down right? This should be cheap as it will not be used much yet durable? Let me run this by you. Take those existing rough sewage lines for the portos in Centeroo that are covered over and pipe them to a central location the central location is a methane digester/plant. Then dig out an underground chamber and hook it up so that it cools by method of thermal dynamics or what not similar to an RV (there are refrigerators for cabins rural folks that run off natural gas) The chamber holds a large volume of water that cools down and or freezes entirely. I have read about air conditioning systems that do that instead of the normal method of evaporative cooling whereby moisture is extracted from the air with a compressor type unit. Okay this chamber with cold water/ice etc. has that PEX tubing they use in radiant floor heating cooling running through it with a simple pump. Okay then get this it circulates through a compacted earthen floor that is built inside a huge straw bale house the straw of course will cost nothing they have to mow the farm some during the year. They can build an air well like they do in desert countries or like they already have in the post office to cause an updraft to force out the hot air. Meanwhile the ground is cool. You can of course substitute cement if you want for the floor which is ice cold as heat from outside is not radiating into the structure. Straw bales are thick and provide a high R value for insulation. Plus UV rays will not penetrate this structure. Meanwhile the tubing ends in a filtered water station that has cold water available to help cool people inside down. Think about this a cool floor to crash on heat is allowed to bleed up and out the structure but in a grander way then the design of the post office (I have this weird thing where I notice architectural features) and ice cold water is available. There will be almost no carbon footprint and people can relax in style. Have like some cool LED lighting or even make it like a planetarium? Also there is a flip side as with all things dealing with me. Alter the transmission source of the PEX tubing (have different feeds you can switch off of ) and run the other line through a concrete pad. You can then use the composte from Bonnaroo to cover the concrete pad as it digests compost gives off tons of heat I have seen a video that I am about to show you in a second where a guy hooked it up and off of a small pile got several months of hot showers. The compost decomposes and walla fertilizer for agricultural enrichment purposes! also if it is a good sized structure that is kep warm all year and with all of that compost and methane to heat the place Bonnaroo could make a concert venue not a great big one mind you but they could possibly pull in some fall and even winter shows! We all know they have what 3 I think large gathering permits per year from Manchester? Yet they never utilize them but at the same time the park is up for rent anyone can rent it any time if they are a baller like that. My main concern is helping peopel out suffering through UV exposure and overheating. Hell they could make it a big sand box with automated scrapers like those cat litter boxes on tv that scoop themselves. Peopel use sand in root cellars all the time to additionally cool down carrots etc. but the dual use of this straw bale building tha tis heated and cooled at very minimal expense off of waste that is going to be trucked off could make a world of difference. Might even smooth things over with that Church on Brushy Branch I have noticed through the years that behavior around it has varied. Year before last there was some loon shouting to high heaven about hell and damnation. They had an area abound it gated of in addition to the normal chain link fence they normally have. How about Bonnaroo runs an electric line and say free methane over to them for the weekend of inconvenience they cause? Another year I noticed they were nice and had charging stations set up and were offering drinks and food when I wandered through and were not even preaching about it. They are kind of in the thick of things. And we all know those Solar Panels will be put to money making as soon as possible! Indeed they talked about the panels but the simple fact is there is no battery bank! it is being fed straight into the meter and per Federal Law the utility company is having to buy it back from Bonnaroo at market cost! A battery bank for something the size of Bonnaroo probably does not exist even on something as large as a Nuclear Submarine. An aircraft carrier I believe runs off of steam and does not have a battery bank. I am sure there are some electricians onher to figure out the electrical load for a Skrillex/Daeadmau5 stage show with other shows running at the same time. ENDRANT!
