Anywho, after re-reading a few times, I still don't see why inspector would come out so early. On the other hand, the real inspector would surely have come out by now otherwise. The 3rd alternative is Hakuna is faking + NBF was the real inspector. In which case, why would the mafia be faking if they were in such good position and confident they had gotten inspector (who was really quiet and never pushed any suggestions...)? I had neither of them on my inspector analysis, but then again I was wrong about Hakuna being inspector last game too. Imo, we go through with Mike and Bacon, then work on the third. I have an idea on who it may be, but no reason to bring it up for now.

Since there has not been a lot of conversation, I am probably going to close this round at 11. I would close it earlier, but that is the front end of the 1 hour vote change rule. Midnight was posted more than 24 hours ago, so I will give anyone a last chance to say something now.
By order of the king, upon advisement from the town, Mike D is sentenced to death!
He is suspected of exposing himself to the Royal ferret, witchcraft, consorting with demons, rape, and murder in association with a nefarious, subversive organization. Since his crimes have not been proven, and he has not confessed, the town has decreed that he shall be placed upon the rack in order to loosen his tongue until his death. God is the path of eternal salvation and he demands repentance!
Let all those who associate with the shadow organization learn from this and repent immediately! The town is ever watchful and they will find you.
One sometimes feels ill after a night of feasting because they over ate, but this was so much worse. No, this was a sickness of a more sinister nature.
Last evening, the town gathered in the great hall of a sumptuous meal, with a beautiful roast pig for the main course... or so they thought. Little did they know that the roast pig was actually the cooked carcase of HakunaMattata served to them courtesy of the mafia and the favor owed to them by the head chef.
A dread illness now hangs over the entire town. Who is doing this to them? Should they still hunt the mafia or give in? Do any of them have the courage to carry on?
All of these are questions for Day 3 as the sun now rises on the somber village.

Unless this is an amazing fake Inspector Mafia sacrifice Bacon should be the next to go. That will either win us the game in the unlikely event that LD was Mafia or leave us with the more likely task of finding one more out of the five left.
I hate we don't get the inspectors last guess. What if hakunah wrote it down on a piece of paper and as the mafia rushed in to get him he quickly found a carrier pigeon, tied it to the leg and sent it to the town. Then he gets a guess and we slay the mob

Haha. Clearly. I did sort of think that they might pull one of those kept the inspector alive to fool the mafia moves. Which kind of makes me think the third member could be more hidden then we think.

OK, it will be interesting to see who gets whacked next. It seems pretty certain that all we will need to do is pick the correct person in the next two rounds to win. Not that I expect that to be easy. I'll save my speculation on who that might be once we see the whack.
Since it is a Friday, and I would like to end night 3 at some point, I will close Night 3 at midnight tonight. If anyone has an issue, please PM me and I will open it back up until noon tomorrow.

I think we need to do more analysis on the night 1 kill and see what we get by tomorrow morning and just overall slow down a bit. More discussion is always good for the townies and it seems like we haven't gotten nearly enough of it lately.

Yes we breezed through the MikeD and Bacon vote-offs but we will certainly need to discuss the next one. Shit gets real now. I'm going to keep quiet until the whack. I don't want the Mafia to use any discussion we have now as a guide to who to whack.

Yeah that's the only thing that comes out of looking at it. But she really didn't do anything at all. She made her vote, then didn't say anything about suspicions. Seems like it may have just been a veteran kill, though personally I didn't think she played like a vet the one time I played with her, last game. Then again she was mafia, so maybe she was playing differently.
