This seems odd either way. If you are mafia, this seems like such an early desperation move for no reason. If you are inspector, you could still get another guess in or gather up more evidence this round. Either way, you didn't point towards Bacon at all during round 1, so you'd be playing inspector 180 degrees from the way you played it last time. People also thought you were inspector last game too, so maybe you're just playing off the role history.

^^^ My bad, I don't know why I kept thinking you had been inspector before. Thought the same thing last game too. I am tending to believe you, though it's good to keep an even keel when people come out the 2nd round. It just seems weird that an inspector wouldn't lead the townies a bit more, but I've never been in the inspector's shoes before, so I don't know how closely I would protect myself either.

I can't think of a reason the mafia would choose to fake inspector in this situation. Even if LD was mafia, they are playing long ball here. It's not like the first round ended with the townies hot on the trail of anyone. Why try to purposefully take it to 5th round right off the bat?

One question for inspector hakunah. Odds were we had 2 townies in last rounds runoff now, with no real suspicion on you why come out? I think you had a pretty good chance of being left out of the second runoff where if you are real inspector will probably be the next whack. Unless you are kept alive to be discredited.

I think what the question is why didn't you let the round go for awhile so we could collect more information and make the mafia possible tie themselves together more.
But I take your word. I did something very similar the first time I was inspector. I came forward before the runoff started. It's not unheard of.
I believe Hakuna. And I can understand coming out when he did. I've never been inspector but I would not have waited another round. I might have waited a bit just to hear discussion about the whack. But I also understand that if you have to pull the Inspector card while you are being stacked on it is a tough sell. I feel like I'm getting some type of flu bug so I may be doing a lot of napping tomorrow so I want to get my vote in.

With MikeD and Bacon voting for Hakuna I don't think that's going to be possible. We will probably need to vote them straight off. I think that would be great but I don't think we will have the votes to do it with EAP taking her own path.
Honestly I'm confused by this game. I looked back and I for the life of me can't figure out why Hakuna would fake right now, but I know that he is.
Only thing I can come up with is that both LD and Hakuna were mafia and having two mafia in the run-off got them skittish. They would however be the luckiest fuckers in the world with the NBF kill as it seems pretty obvious we don't have an inspector
I'm pretty much okay with it. I don't think I've played with LD before (maybe once?), but of the games I've watched with him in them, this does seem different.
I kind of thought Hakuna's vote change to "shake things up" was a pretty non-shaking-things-up kind of vote change.
I never know what to make of Bacon.
Besides the fact that she's a shrewd player that's all I see that might cause her to be targeted.
