Really? You really think that One Direction would get booked for Bonnaroo? Man these clue threads disappoint me, especially when we figure them out within the first few posts and all of this garbage adds on top of the correct answers.

Purity Ring sounds like the most likely answer. MGMT came to mind when I read the first line but the rest doesn't really make sense. Innocence of youth also makes me think of the Beatles, so Ringo Starr? Probably Purity Ring

If seems like most of the 'answers' people are coming up with make sense, but are also artists that are on the confirmed/semi confirmed list. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities that they're creating these geared towards things we somewhat already know.
From Pepper's roundup of 2010 clues: "As far as I know, only one (Kylesa) was already known to be playing at the time they were guessed. The other 6 solved clues all gave us information we wouldn't otherwise have had."

As entertaining as clues can be, I don't know if I seem them staying around in the years to come. Could just be me, though.
Talked about this in another clue thread. I really think that they're making the clues easier this year, because they're promoting them more. In years' past, the only people who really paid attention were the degenerate shut-ins that hang out on this board. Now, they're pushing the clues hard through Facebook, Twitter, making it a scavenger hunt, etc. It would make sense that they'd also use a) bands that more people are likely to know, and b) easier clues so people don't get frustrated. Of course, judging by the moronic comments on the Bonnaroo Facebook page, the clue could be "Rhymes with "smanimal smollective" and people would be all "TOO HARD THIS CLUES ARE STOOPID WHEREZ THE LINEUP DAFT PUNK!!!!!1," so whatever.
Yeah, I went to the facebook page once to see if they had any legitimate guesses. And I never went back again.
