This is the truest thing I've read today, and I already graduated college. Festivals are what jobs are for.
Well then skip college.. Loans suck. All my friends that went to college now have massive student loans and they all serve tables! I skipped college, served tables at a sick restaurant, bought a house when they were at the lowest. Now i'm sitting on 50k in equity with a job hanging blinds for Home Depot, banking, working on my own all day driving around! School is a scam unless you know EXACTLY the route your taking when getting out! Like a Doctor, Lawyer, etc.. something you HAVE to have a degree for. Otherwise, work your way up or start your own buisness with an LLC. Then you can go to all the festivals you want!

I don't totally get the joke.. I mean, I went to college and luckily ended up with an awesome very well-paying job outright. But most of my friends weren't so lucky.

There was a few posts recently that fall into the same category. I just want this thread to remain the cream of the crop, and not deteriorate into pointing out the idiocies of some members of this message board. I can just go to The Hangout thread for that.

we really do need a separate thread. Such posts as these really tarnish the excellence of previous POTD, just by its presence.

my best friend from high school got engaged 2 weeks ago. one of my other best friends since first grade got engaged a month or two ago... and my best friend from college just got engaged like an hour ago.

What I'm saying is that for a large number of kids in America the request is made to both the student and the parent . That the student in order to catch up to the grade they're going into they eexorcise . As well as thet have required reading .
If the intent of this post is to get me concerned about the U.S. Education system, it's working.
