We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

And how could I compare two pies when I've never had one of them? In fact, I had no idea sweet potato pie existed until the last time we talked about pie. BUT if I had to choose... I don't like sweet potatoes and sweet potato casserole is similar to death for me. And as a kid I actually loved pumpkin (leaving the crust behind, of course). Therefore, ze winna izzz de pumpkin.

I make a mean key lime pie! My plan for brunch this year was to bring some of Florida to the farm with me. So..... Along with the shrimp I will be bringing, I'll figure out how to tote a key lime pie or 2 with me
