I don't really know how I feel about starting a thread BUT the first band I ever saw at Roo was the Futurebirds in 2011....don't know if anyone else caught this set but they freaking killed it!!
They were just one of those "smaller" bands who you could tell was having a BLAST playing a huge show like Roo.
Didnt catch em at Roo, but saw them open up for Heartless Bastards last year and they were awesome. Very well tuned band, played great together and were extremely enthusiastic then as well.

Would love to see Futurebirds back. For two people in my group, Futurebirds were the first set they saw at Bonnaroo. I caught them at Forecastle and twice in Detroit last year. They said how much they loved the experience and were definitely trying to get back to Roo again.

I must have been the only one at Boomslang who enjoyed them I'm planning on catching 'em at Roo this year.
They played at a small bar in wrightsville beach, nc this past memorial day and they were amazing! I didn't see them in 2011 at bonnaroo but after last weekend I definitely will be going to see them this year!

does anyone have any reason to think these guys will be back at the farm? they could be my most anticipated of the weekend if they were. Baba Yaga might have been my favorite album of 2013.

I doubt it but I certainly would love to see them back. I missed their thursday set last year because we got stuck in traffic

That's rough dude. I've missed some of my most anticipated acts over the year due to traffic so I can relate.
Last year they had Houndmouth and Furutrebirds at the same time which was a major conflict for me especially since the original schedule didn't have them overlapping.

I REALLY don't think they'll be back because I don't think they've gained much - if any - popularity since 2013, which I'm bummed about. I saw them in Nashville last April (had never even head of them) and from what I remembered (unfortunately I was also much more inebriated than I EVER intend to be) I THINK I thought they were awesome, so when I saw 'em on the lineup I was excited to see then for real. And then I missed the Thursday set because I'm a dummy and stuck with my group

I enjoyed their 2011 set more then their 2013. Maybe it was just me, but they lost their drummer/singer who I though contributed a whole bunch to this band. They still rock though. Doubt they'll be back this year. Their show wasn't really that crowded, I forget who was playing at the same time but I know it drew a lot of people away. Twenty One Pilots maybe.
