I checked out airfare too, Thursday through Monday morning would be less than 300 which is also very doable, but with Wanee just two weeks before... certainly tempting, though.

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Considering that I get Band of Horses, Lumineers, Jim James, Gary Clark Jr, Dr. Dog, Delta Spirit, The Antlers, and Shovels and Rope for $100 is ridiculous. Plus I can get a flight for $98...
Oh yeah, the Braves are in town Friday night also.

Mr. and Mrs. mattlikesrock are planning to come to this. (Third person?) Mayo, we might crash with you if there's room. But we only live about an hour and a half away, so we'll give up our space for others if they come since we can commute pretty easily. This looks awesome!

No camping Katbur. Its in an area downtown where camping would be NOT safe. And I'd normally absoluuuutely say come on and even bring the kiddos, but with Sang and Mrs. Sang, and Mattlikesrock and Mrs. Mattlikesrock, we are approaching capacity for this fest. But dont ever let the kids be a reason to not come down!!! <3
NOW for those of you who arent at my casa, there are many places around that are relatively inexpensive. and in like, $5 taxi range. I will research and come back to this!!!

My main issue right now is seeing if any friends want to go along. It looks like there are 3 flights every day from Richmond to Atlanta so I should be pretty well set. I also have a best friend who lives in Atlanta, so I have a place to stay as well ;D
After listening through a bunch of the lower end of the lineup, I couldn't be more excited. I missed Moon Taxi at Roo last year due to holding my spot for Alabama Shakes, so I'm pumped to see them. Also Oberhofer, Vintage Trouble, and Roadkill Ghost Choir are right down my alley. It's a pretty unbelievable lineup for the money.
Gotta hit this up. My main concern is where the hell am I gonna park for this thing.
The Hams and I will more than likely end up doing this, if we do you can ride down from Athens with us. If we get there at a reasonable time, I'd think we'd be set as the Masq has a massive parking area

I would consider myself a Lumineers fan, but how in the world can they headline a festival, even something as small as this or Floydfest? Their album doesn't even run 45 minutes. I know Ho Hey is a huge hit, and will bring a lot of people out, but I just find it a little confusing how they will logistically headline any kind of festival.
Edit: After a quick trip to setlist.fm, it looks their last show included two new songs and two covers. That adds an additional 15 minutes, but my point still stands.

Yeah-they have a few other songs in their arsenal. Sang one new tune at ACL last fall. Also do some covers typically - they can make it work!
