Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Don't give me access to free booze. It doesn't end well. To be fair, Doug G made a valiant effort to get me to put my shoes on. I just thought he was worried about me stepping on a rock.
Um more than Doug tried to help.
Bacon followed to make sure you didn't get lost. We noticed you were barefoot. Doug chased after both you and bacon to make sure you wore shoes. You came back holding your shoes.

It was an overall failed group effort.
To be fair to Dave Maynar the portos were exceptionally clean all weekend. I can't speak for the particular one that was used but overall a great experience in that department
Best sets of the weekend: Friday was Death From Above 1979 and Mastodon. So much energy at those two sets. Saturday started off great with Fidlar and the Noel Gallagher did a great set. Very entertaining commentary and capped by on of my favorite songs Champagne Supernova! Sunday was fantastic! The combo of Spiritualized>Ryan Adams>Ride>Tame Impala was the best ending I could have hoped for.
I went into the weekend not knowing many of the artists, and was very surprised how many I really enjoyed. Will definitely plan to be back next year

Not a big Ride fan so can someone tell me what song this is: It ended in a long instrumental and every now and again the drums would speed up for a second on a hi hat beat and then it'd go back to a slower ride cymbal/Tom beat
What a fest. The Strokes were on point and relatively on time, Tame Impala proved their worth in terms of being a headliner, James Blake was phenomenal as always, Minus the Bear set was bucket list material, Kevin Devine => Speedy Ortiz => Viet Cong => Metz => Fidlar was fucking stellar.

Ok. For starters, let me just say I had an awesome weekend. Seriously. I am so happy I got to finally meet so many people who I've grown to love so much and actually spend a bit of time with most of you. Even some of you whom I've never interacted with much here, or your friends you brought who aren't on the boards. You are all awesome. <3
Special shout out to SFA for spending all day with me and taking LLL, Phi & myself around Atlanta. It was cool to see the city and a few Walking Dead filming locations.
Top 10 sets of the weekend:
1) Tame Impala (holy shit) 2) Portugal. The Man LN (holy shit) 3) Spiritulaized LN 4) James Blake 5) Noel Gallagher 6) Flogging Molly 7) Mac Demarco 8) Panda Bear 9) The Black Lips 10) Neutral Milk Hotel
But like other said, not a single I set I saw was bad. Well, Avetts sadly didn't have their best night ever but it still had its moments. I was excited for them too, but they had moments where I actually thought to myself "wow, that sounded terrible". I liked this site too. I wish the surrounding area was a bit better, but what can you do? It was shady and had lots of places to sit. The 2 stages in a parking lot were hot as hell as some points but it was manageable for small periods of time. We found a nice little spot on the curb at the Ponce stage that was shady and perfect to stand on and see over the crowd. It was great.
The hotel I stayed in was the perfect amount of trashy. Our room actually wasn't bad. We stayed at the Red Roof Inn and I roomed with RJ & thepeppers. The 3 of us (to my knowledge) never had any issues except for when I was checking in Thursday. That was a combonation my fault and the hotels fault though. The mishap made me miss James Blake on Thursday, which made me miss Pixies on Saturday. But overall the hotel is a shit hole but it's clean and nothing in our room was broken at least. I know several people were complaining about various issues though, the worst being someone who had no ac all weekend. But overall, for what we paid it wasn't bad. And you can't beat how close it was to the venue. It was ridiculously close. We were also walking distance to The Masquerade too. The area surrounding it was sketchy as fuck tho...
Overall, I had an amazing time. I'd probably return again without hesitation if my financial situation is right and I'm not in school. Looking at past line ups it seems to get better and better every year too, so a return trip is more than likely for next year. I'll just plan my travel a bit better. Sitting here at the MARTA station waiting is kinda shitty. At least there's an outlet tho.
Oh. And this creepy old man next to me is ridiculously pervy. He's checked out every girl that has passed and is cat-calling all of them. Unfortunately, this is the only spot with a working outlet for my phone. Whomp whomp.
