I might finally have to do this fest this year. It's only 10 minutes from my house and the lineup is awesome. Just gotta figure out transportation; not sure if there's a MARTA bus line that would connect me to the Civic Center area.
Does anyone have a PDF of last year's schedule? I'm trying to get a feel for how they organize things.
This is the best I could find for the 2014 schedule: 2014 schedule
The way they had it set up last year was the two main stages (Peachtree and Piedmont) were side-by-side so you could camp in one spot and have a good sightline for both stages with very little dead time between acts. The other two stages (Ponce De Leon and Boulevard) faced each other, so you could either stand toward the back and stay in place for both or work your way toward the front as those stages weren't overly crowded. Also, it was only a minute or two walk from the side stages to the main stages.

You can still download the SK app from last year which has everything too.

This is coming from some one who has lived in the city for about 5 years and owned a car only very sparingly while doing so...
This location is pretty good for public transportation. It looks like its a 10 minute or less walk from peachtree street. Even though MARTA busses are absolutely terrible most of the time, the 110 Peachtree St bus is probably the most competent. It stops at every MARTA station that I can think of going north or south from downtown to buckhead, and there's lots of them so you never have more than a 10-15 minute wait. All it does is go up and down peachtree. Most of the hotels in Atlanta are off Peachtree. You get the picture.
That being said Uber and Lyft are totally the way to go in Atlanta and I use them every week.

You are missing Mastodon and Clutch!!!
I have seen Mastodon three times and Clutch twelve-ish. Hard to rank them above acts I have never seen or only seen once.
This was a difficult list to make. So much greatness.
