Most of my friends are still set on Hangout and Roo, but there's no way in hell I'm missing out on this weekend. Who wants to meet up with a moderately cool 20 year old?

I am also 20 and will probably being doing this solo
It's really cool to see so many people go ape shit over this.
The best part was that most of us were not expecting it to be anywhere near this stacked with stuff that's not at other fests near us just based on previous lineups. The only thing I was jealous about in 2013 was the late night Black Angels & Goat show and only thing last year was The Replacements.

The Black Angels / Goat show wasn't even really part of the festival. It was an official after party at a venue close to the park. I went and didn't go to the fest at all.

I think it was the same last year...a lot of these will get added here and there now.
So I also just booked a room at the Red Roof if anybody wants to split.
just a heads up if you're not familiar with the area it is most def walking distance but be safe on the walk home at night because that area can get sketchy. Parkway (where red roof in is) and Boulevard which runs parallel to parkway is home to the Bedford pines apartments which is the largest section 8 complex in the entire southeast. Shit can def go down at night on either of those streets.
Not sure how it is now because it has been renovated and turned in to a red roof inn but before it was a red roof inn it was a notorious crack/prostitution motel, can't remember the name though.
Seriously, I am almost thinking of saying "QUACK IT" and not walk for James Madison University's graduation just so I can road trip down to Atlanta.
If you want to, we can set up an assembly where you walk in front of us, I shake you hand and hand you a folder that has nothing in it. You can even wear your robe and throw your hat if you want. Also congrats on graduating
Saw the lineup this morning but didn't have a chance to weigh in until getting home from work just now. Like many of you, I'm blown away by how good the lineup is for my musical tastes. I've been a little bummed since the Bonnaroo dates came out as I have a family conflict that weekend. Went to Shaky Knees last year and had that and Forecastle as my potential alternatives for this year. About 10 seconds after seeing the lineup the decision was made. We're going to Atlanta! And with the underwhelming Bonnaroo lineup I am no longer bummed and quite happy with how it all turned out.

I'm glad you said this because I realized I may also have to skip my graduation for this. However, my ceremony is the weekend before, so I'm good. Still, I would've had a lot of explaining to do to mother if I had purchased a ticket and missed my graduation.
Very impressive, It's going to be sad to tell some of my friends that I won't be at Purple Hatter's Ball. Scrog. This is as stacked of a lineup as I've ever seen for a festival this size.
We will have a chair by the fire with your name and picture on it.
I have a hotel room now at the Hilton. (Everything else was booked up). Ill keep checking for elsewhere closer to the festival. But this is Step #1 in getting there

Well there seems to be a lot of us booking there. Strength in numbers?

The Georgian Terrace isn't far and it's a great hotel. I saw rooms there for $110 earlier. It's actually pretty swanky. I've stayed there a few times and the staff is 5 star.

If anyone's interested and on Spotify, I made a playlist (2-4 songs per band). Running through this got me stoked on some bands way down the list that sound really cool. And yeah, this lineup is DEEP.
