With my current house situation (or lack thereof) I have a ticket to off load. Im not necessarily out, but with the uncertainty of how quickly Ill have to move, it doesnt feel right planning on a solo trip to Atlanta in May (especially after being there in April for Sweetwater). If all works out with my house Ill grab a ticket closer to May once I understand where I stand with the ability to travel and money.

Some things I noticed while looking up dates.
Also appearing at Shaky Knees Music Festival are The Avett Brothers, Wilco, Beck and PIXIES. This was posted by Social Distortion. So this is the 2nd year in a row that they thought they had Beck and it fell through.
A bunch of the bands listed Atlantic Station as the venue. I guess that was a last minute change.
Phi suddenly wants to see Ride? Well, that makes it official, then:
Let me congratulate Ride on being the 2015 winners of the "marginally popular band who reforms for some festivals and inexplicably has people overly excited about them" award, also known as the Pavement Cup.
I'm more surprised that people are excited for Noel Gallagher. I love Oasis and I'm constantly shit on for liking them.
That's probably bc Liam was the more hated one. The songs Noel sings on were always my favourite Oasis songs.

Another thing, I probably won't be able to make it up to Shaky Knees on the Friday until 5:30. What are the odds I miss Kaiser Chiefs and Death From Above 1979?

Why do you love the Kaiser Chiefs so much? I mean, I'm glad you do because I never met a bigger fan and I think it's hilarious, but I don't really understand.

I just always have. Employment was one of the first CDs I ever bought and I've just always wanted to see them live since then.

Without Liam there would be no Oasis. I doubt the majority of Americans could even tell them apart to be fair. I think its just their general attitude and the perception that they are one hit wonders (Wonderwall being so annoyingly overplayed) that turns most people off.
Anyway, I'd be curious to see what kind of venues they play in America if (but more like when) they get back together.

The sad part is that most Americans wouldn't recognize either of them. Most Americans don't even know their names are Liam and Noel!

They'd play arenas in the bigger cities but maybe smaller arenas (like the Gwinnett) in more southern places.

I actually had an argument with a girl lay year about Oasis. She thought they were American. She was so sure.

Oh yeah, last tour they did arenas but they were (reportedly) not very full. I saw them in Vegas at a maybe 2000+ capacity venue and they were fucking loud! MSG is almost a certain, but I doubt they'd bother doing many other shows.
Anyway, getting a bit off topic, but it does warm my heart to see people excited for Noely G.

Yeah, I was sitting around with a bunch of friends, watching old MTV Unplugged performances and talking about all the fest lineups and we started discussing Shaky Knees and nobody mentioned Noel. I was dumbfounded, so I calmly said, "man, Noel Gallagher... That's gonna be awesome to see him even though Liam won't be there. I wonder what old stuff he will play" and I got a bunch of confused looks until one of them said that they think I'm the only one who knows him!!! Wtf?! I was like "guys, that's half of fucking Oasis, the group that was compared to the Beatles!" And one of them had the audacity to insist "yeah, but they've only got those two big hits, right?" I was up in arms. I immediately turned off the show we were watching and made them listen to Morning Glory.
I might have to find some of you guys to watch Noel with unless I end up finding some oasis lovers to go with me
