Really?! I have heard nothing but great reviews about that show? Why weren't you digging Modest Mouse?
The sound was a problem all weekend. Especially with Portugal the Man.
Maybe they will change that problem this year. I'm wondering if that was a factor with the change in venue? Maybe Atlantic Station had certain limits as far as how loud the festival could be.

Probably but in an interview, the founder said that the asphalt was the main reason.
Let me know when they do - I really need to go to this show, haha
I bet it will go on sale along with the rest of the late nights. Which could be either tomorrow with the announcement or maybe everything will go on sale at the end of the week.
Hey folks. We got a big day tomorrow. I'm hoping it's everything great for everybody.
Side note: I know it isn't happening (which means that I will not in anyway be disappointed), but I'm going to lay in bed tonight with thoughts of a Deerhunter late night to put me to sleep.
The show I really want on Friday is for Surfer Blood to open for Mac Demarco and I feel like at least one of those two playing is highly likely but my unrealistic prayer is for Spiritualized (or maybe Ride) on Saturday night, THAT would make more happy than the actual festival.
Do they normally add bands (for the night shows) that aren't playing the festival proper? I know one year they put on a Black Angels/GOAT show when neither band was on the line-up. Could there be some surprises?

Thanks for reminding me about that, dick. I almost came to Atlanta for that show without any intentions of going to the festival.

I didn't go the fest but I went that show. Goat was incredible that night. I have never seen a crowd go from being that disinterested to completely won over like that. It was 10x better than their Bonnaroo appearance.

I'm on mobile so I can't post the pic
Spiritualized, Ride, Portugal the Man, Milky Chance, James Blake kickoff show, Built to Spill, Best Coast, Diamond Rugs, Frank Turner, Graveyard, The Dead Milkmen, And You Will Know Us, Snowden, Shadowboxers,
I'm coming back from a two-week adventure in Amsterdam/Belgium/Paris about 48 hours before this fest starts. These late nights have confirmed I will have to straight up ignore any and all jet lag until Monday.
I'd love to do James Blake, Portugal. The Man and Spiritualized. Pass the coffee, please.

James Blake would be nice if I could make it work. Friday is a horrible decision between The Dead Milkmen, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Portugal The Man and Ride. Saturday is easy. Spiritualized or GTFO. Sunday is Lightning Bolt. I realized the other day that I have to be in Knoxville early on Monday, so it's going to be painful.
I see some Red Bulls, Five Hour Energies, etc. in my future.
Absolutely loving these late nights, even with all the difficult decisions. I'm thinking it will be PTM & Spiritualized for us. I hope I can make it down for James Blake, but I'm not sure about that happening.
