Blank News posted their interview with Tim Sweetwood from Shaky Knees today. Lots of good info in there including the capacity for the fest will be a good bit larger this year, he won't books bands he thinks suck, there will be two stage areas with five total stages (with the return of the back and forth stage setup of last year), and Late Nights will be announced on Tuesday the 10th. Read the rest at the link.

For example, with Shaky Knees, we’re trying to establish something this year from a band that played last year and that is playing this year and will play every year from here on out. We’re working artistically with them to make it so that from year to year they are creating something completely different like inviting other artists or covering an album or something like that. Now that there is a consistency of the brand for Shaky Knees, I want to bring in some of those funky elements.

Who played last year that's playing this year?
John McAuley from Deer Tick and Diamond Rugs. Plus he had done that solo show at AS with Steve Earls kid that SweetWood put on. Maybe they are trying to turn it into something like Deer Tick does for Newport Folk Fest.

Shit. This doesn't give me much time to save.
COME ONNNNNNNNNNNNN SPIRITUALIZED!!!!
I'm with you. I wish late nights were announced after next pay period. And I would die if Spiritualized is one of them. I'm a guarantee for Lightning Bolt no matter what though.
I just remembered Spiritualized is playing the fest Sunday, so they would probably do a Sunday late night if they were to do a late night. That means it would conflict with Lightning Bolt. That would be a huge problem.

Billions has them listed for both Saturday and Sunday at Shaky Knees. The problem is they/he plays Levitation on Friday. I could see him doing a Acoustic Mainline set for a aftershow, I dunno though. It's a stretch, I know, but I'm holding out hope.
Spiritualized indoors > Spiritualized outdoors.

Oh shit, I didn't know that, man, I'm soooo excited now, thank you Dave
And you liked the article at the top of the page where we found out. I see how it is.
Wait, I'll have to go check that out, I had read an article that contained info similar to what your post said but I didn't remember it having anything about late nights?! Honestly, I'm happy I overlooked the late night show announcement date because I would've dying waiting this whole time
I totally wish I went to that TPC show. I was not liking Modest Mouse's set and I saw TTMTTS at Corner Tavern a few years back and really liked them.
Really?! I have heard nothing but great reviews about that show? Why weren't you digging Modest Mouse?
I liked the show as far as the setlist and everything goes, but the sound was really really bad. The crowd kept chanting for the sound guys to turn it up in between songs, but it never happened.

Ohhhhhh, ok, that makes sense. That's such a bummer. My friends were damn near on the rail for that show
