I'm probably doing Trail Of Dead and definitely doing Spiritualized.I've liked pretty much every post about who people are seeing late night. Because there is no wrong answer. Well maybe Milky Chance, but yea.

It's not so much that I hate Milky Chance but $27? No thanks.
The real winners here are Graveyard and Steve Gunn. So much bang for your buck.
I'm pretty bummed that I don't know about this Terminal West venue. I'm assuming it's new? I've never even heard of it.
I'm also pretty bummed the openers haven't been announced. If I'm shelling out $25/ticket, I'd like to know.
It's where Jungle played after Outkast in September, so it's been open at least that long. monster went to that show, so he would be one to ask about it.
Some of the openers have been announced. I just didn't list them. Check the venue's website. The shows for The Earl aren't up on their site yet. I had to find the price through a ticketing website.
Friday Graveyard - $15 Dead Milkmen - $23 Trail Of Dead - $16 Portugal The Man - $25 Shadowboxers - $16 Snowden - $15 Ride - $23
Saturday Built To Spill - $20 Frank Turner - $21 Diamond Rugs - $17 Spiritualized - $23 Milky Chance - $27 Best Coast - $16 Steve Gunn - $12

I went off by myself at SK last year and watched Graveyard. They destroyed that tiny little stage/crowd they were playing for. I would definitely recommned seeing them, but I've been waiting like 13 years to see TOD again. I saw them once opening for QOTSA and they were so good and somehow I've never managed to see them again. You ever have that happen with any bands?
Terminal West is just a few years old. I actually haven't made it to a show there yet but it looks nice.

Terminal West opened in... 2012? I think? It's in a space called King Plow Arts Center so you might have seen a show there or heard the name. previously they just had shows in the gallery/open space in the arts center.
It's an awesome venue. They have three bars--one on each side and one upstairs outside. You open a tab at one bar and it's good everywhere which is huge.

Those are really reasonable late night prices IMO. Are the late nights at the festival venue or at indoor places? I know very little about Shaky Knees besides the lineup.

All the stuff at The Masquerade is walking distance. You could use Marta to get to The Loft and Vinyl. For The Earl or Terminal West you'll have to drive/Uber.

Any openers worth mentioning?
I wasn't really looking at them because I was searching for ticket prices.
About Terminal West: A 7,000 square feet music and special events venue in historic west midtown of Atlanta at the King Plow Arts Center. An extensive renovation to a 100 year old iron and steel foundry originally used to manufacture plows as a part of the King Plow Company. Featuring high end lighting and sound, leading-edge air conditioning units, and an outdoor roof deck overlooking the historic train tracks of West Atlanta. The home of friendly staff, tasty cocktails, and unforgettable nights of music, this is Terminal West.

As 10goldbees said, it's new-ish but it's been around for about 3 years. It's very nice and has great sound. Their thing at the bar is a wide selection of canned beer that's kind of different and cool. I've seen lots of good stuff there such as Black Lips, Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, Swans, Jungle, Dan Deacon, Of Montreal, etc. The have a great smoking deck upstairs and outside along the train trecks. It has a bar and a view inside to the stage. I have never met anybody who doesn't like the venue.
Is there a pretty realistic chance that the LNs will sell out? And when do tickets go on sale for them? (As in is this a situation where I need to get tickets the day the go on sale?)
$36 for James Blake kinda blows, but if I can make arrangements to be kn ATL Thursday night I'm still going. Definitely not a deterrent for me.
Hubby is going to Shaky Knees and has a reservation at the Hyatt. (I'm staying home with the kids) The room has two double beds and a sofa bed. He is not on Inforoo so if you're interested pm me and I'll give you his email address.
I'm really conflicted about Friday late night. Ride is probably the best choice. But I've heard Trail of Dead doing Source Tags & Codes in full recently (although I haven't seen anything about that for this show). I don't care for the Dead Milkmen (at least I didn't when I was younger).

Who knows how long this Ride reunion will last. My goal is to see them as much as I can when I can so that I regret nothing.

I'm a little worried about spoiling the fest set but you are probably right about getting it all while you can.
Is "The Masquerade" only a 15 - 20 minute walk from Central Park or am I reading it wrong?
If so, that will be very convenient on Friday.
In all honesty, I would not walk if I were you.
It's close, sure, but the area between the fest and the Masquerade is not very safe. I say this as someone who has lived in the middle of the city for years and is generally not concerned about violence. It's not the worst place in town, but it's certainly not somewhere I would want to be walking at midnight.
