So, as stated before, I won't be at SK until 5pm on Friday. Out of the Kooks, Kaiser Chiefs, Jukebox the Ghost, American Football and DFA1979, who am I most likely to miss?
I've already accepted that I'm not gonna see Jukebox (which doesn't bother me that bad). But I do know I'd be lucky to see half of those bands. DFA1979 doesn't bother me if I miss them but I'm really concerned about American Football and The Kooks.
Friday of the fest is going to wear me out. So much I want to see.
Surfer Blood --> Mac Demarco --> Kaiser Chiefs --> TV on the Radio --> Pixies --> The Strokes --> PTM
Are you just taking a guess or do you have the schedule and you're just hiding it from us?!
But yeah, Friday will be exhausting, I'm going to Ride that night, who I like but I'm not in love with them, so I'm gonna hang toward the back and kinda chill for most of it to try to conserve a little energy for Saturday because I'm determined to be on the rail for Spiritualized that night.
Oh and I figure this is cool enough that it deserves recognition, that Easter egg contest they did, I talked my friend into doing it (she didn't wanna waste her time she said if she didn't win) but my friend won!!!! I'm just bummed I already bought my ticket, so I can't just have her extra ticket. Oh well, just wanted to say my friend is the artistic champ of a Shaky Knees

I'm now in for Spirtuilized and Ride aftershows thanks to the amazing .
Everyone on inforoo I just want to let you know you are all beautiful people. Until a few days ago I didn't think I was going to be able to pull this off. Now thanks to this wonder place I have a place to stay, advice on how to get around, and gifted tickets to aftershows. The kindness of everyone on here is absolutely remarkable and I can't wait to see all of these amazing artists with you wonderful, wonderful, wonderful people.

I love you all.
Awesome. I hope you enjoy the Ride show. He gave the tickets to me but I decided I should let someone else have it, since I'm more into going to see Trail of Dead. I'll see you at Spiritualized though!
Figured it would. Keep an eye out on stubhub. Prices right now are ridiculous, but I'm sure in the last two weeks there will be people who have to back out...will just try to get their money back.
Also, I can't wait to watch Tame Impala close the fest. The Coachella set really got me pumped for them.
Just to verify, there aren't any age limits on the late night shows, are there? I bought spiritualized and portugal tickets...
The Portugal show is at the Masquerade and idk what the rules are for that show specifically, but the things I've been to at the Masquerade were 18+. So, idk if PTM will have an age limit but it's certainly possible. Also, somebody just recently said there isn't an age on Spiritualized.
Oh and Jim, to answer your question, I'll be going to Ride and Spiritualized, so I'll definitely be seeing ya around.
After discussing it with pepper and reasoning it out, I'm really hoping for the schedule tomorrow (since it's a realistic expectation)

What's everybody most excited for? We need to ramp up discussion for SK....this Friday will make it only 3 weeks away!
1. TV on the Radio 2. Tame Impala 3. Portugal. The Man (LN) 4. Spiritualized (LN) 5. The Strokes 6. Dr. Dog 7. Pixies 8. Noel Gallagher 9. Mac Demarco 10. Kaiser Chiefs
1. Pixies 2. Spiritualized (LN) 3. Tame Impala 4. Noel Gallagher 5. Ride (LN) 6. Mac Demarco 7. The Strokes 8. Flogging Molly 9. The Kooks 10. Built to Spill
Other sets I'm SUPER excited about if I can make it to them: Tennis!!!!!, Surfer Blood, James Blake, Black Lips, FIDLAR, Viet Cong, Haerts, Two Gallants, Real Estate, Frank Turner, Panda Bear, Fences, and Matthew E White (I didn't include ride/spiritualized fest sets because odds are the club shows will be better. Also, I didn't include NMH because I'm seeing them in Orlando the Tuesday before SK)
I'll be at the Ride and Spiritualized after shows as well. Can't wait.
Most excited to see:
1. Ride (LN) 2. Spiritualized (LN) 3. The Strokes (the set will probably be lackluster at best so my expectations are low but i'm still super excited to see them) 4. Built to Spill 5. Pixies 6. Tame Impala 7. Viet Cong 8. American Football 9. TV On the Radio 10. Mac Demarco
This doesn't even factor in Wilco or Ryan Adams, who are two of my favorite artists of all time. Saying this weekend will be incredible is a gross understatement. Also seeing NMH for the 4th this Wednesday and Ryan Adams the Tuesday after the fest. So good!!!!!!!!!

1. American Football 2. The Strokes 3. Neutral Milk Hotel (Would be #1 if I wasn't seeing them in orlando a few days before) 4. Wilco 5. FIDLAR 6. Ride 7. James Blake 8. Death From Above 1979 9. Best Coast 10. Ryan Adams/Wavves/Spiritulized
Tame Impala isn't on the list because I'm not sure if I'll be able to see them
Btw, if anyone needs a room still we have space for one more in ours at the Red Roof Inn which is basically across the street from the fest. PM if interested.
