I am well aware of that, pumpkin. I just wanted to make sure he knew about it, andi felt out prudent to explain why I didn't just tell him here rather than make him search for the email.
I know you're in a contest with Steph for most helpful person in the universe. She wins.
Anyone who tries to beat custeph in that department is fighting a losing battle.
I don't understand why they can't mail the wrist bands to the people who bought tickets early.
My only guess is they assumed many of the people who bought tickets when they went on sale are not going to the festival (scalpers). So instead of sending a bunch of wristbands to scalpers they're letting them re-sell the tickets and then having those people pick up their wristbands. Those who buy tickets a few weeks later are much less likely to be scalpers so it makes sense to send them their wristbands.
That's just my guess, though.
On another note, saw NMH last night and they played on a stage as small if not smaller than the side stages were at Shaky Knees last year. It looked like at times some of the band was playing with their heels hanging off the stage. After looking at the new location on Google Earth, I don't think those stages will be any bigger this year.
I found out yesterday that next week the overtime in my office is going to be really bad because of "Operation Shield". Which is a week long, multi-agency task force that works warrants for 36 hours straight. It requires 2 extra people, per shift, to work the channels for it. It's always super busy and usually has OVI enforcement to go along with it.
Anyways, now I feel bad that I'm marking off sick for SK and creating even more OT... And I JUST decided that I'm like 95% in again and started to get all excited. Now my weekend is going to be ridden with guilt.

At first I felt guilty for missing Mothers Day and my girlfriend niece 1st birthday party. Once the late night shows got released I quickly got over it.
Does anyone know the distance between the park and the box office?
12 miles.
Geez.
I planned on trying to hit up the box office right when I get into the city on Friday morning, but I'm just going to go to the hotel and sleep. I will wait in line at the park whenever I decide to make my way over for the day. I'm not paying an uber for 20+ miles just so I can avoid a line.
That's pretty much the same show that they played at Shaky Knees last year.
1. They didn't play Hey Jude/Don't Look Back in Anger last year. 2. I wasn't at SK last year, so it don't really affect me.
I thought they did play Hey Jude? Oh well I know I've seen them play it. I think I've just become jaded on them. They use to play better shows imo.

I would be very, very, very happy with this setlist for the PTM late show.
Damn.
Eeeek. That's exciting! And I'm sure you guys could get tickets as the date approaches if you really wanted to. Hell, even day of show there is always someone who planned on going who partied too hard or changes their mind and is looking to unload a ticket... Just sayin, all hope is not lost.
Oh. And I've never seen PTM live, so y'all can suck it with your fancy set lists, sang.
