Day 1 was great. My highlights were Wavves, Mac Demarco, Death From Above 1979, American Football and The Strokes. Couldn't decide for Brand New/Pixies/James Blake so I just decided to get a good spot for The Strokes.
The longer this goes on, the less I can stomach it.

Regarding The Strokes, it seemed an interesting thing in that basically everyone who I asked about it had their preconceptions confirmed. People who expected to enjoy it did. People who expected to not enjoy it didn't. It was a better show for sure than the previous ones I had seen from them but calling it magical is way too far. I'm glad you enjoyed it though.
I'll make sure I don't go to Fidlar today so I don't get dick punched because I did not enjoy it either. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the tree root up my ass.

You're crazy. They were way better than anybody I was with expected them to be. It was miles ahead of that Roo set and kicked ass.

Does anybody have any explanation on why Noel Gallagher is playing the bigger stage over Wilco? I'm camping out for NMH and losing those spots to go all the way across the park and get okay Noel spots irritates me. You would've thought Wilco would be regarded are more popular in Georgia.
Big conflicts today: NMH vs Interpol. Noel vs. Social D.
Two turn of the century indie bands still living off of one good album, a greying punk band which hasn't been great in years, and then one of the most phenomenal people alive on this planet. The only advice I can give is don't miss the man who once described his own brother as "a man with a fork in a world of soup."
To be fair, Noel once also did say he hopes Damon Albarn and Alex James get AIDS and die and also wrongfully called himself the last living rockstar. Other than that though, it's an easy a choice.

Noel vs Wilco kills me. Will probably try to catch a bit of each set but I'm seeing wilco again at p4k and have already seen them twice before. Never seen Noel :yeshrug:
