Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I emailed Jeff about this and told him we wanted to get one of the first trees available.
Here is his reply:
Chris,
This is great news!
I will include them in the beta if you would like, so they will have one of the first trees. Let me know, we should be ready to run the beta this week or next.
Cheers!
Jeff
I told him to keep me updated and I will make sure I post here. Phi, PM me you email addy and I will copy you on any correspondence.
Money sent and I stand by my idea that we treat the plaque like the Stanley cup, mail it around so everyone can have time with it. That should buy us a few months to figure out a long term solution

Do you know what kind of dirty things happen to the Stanley Cup? And if I'm getting time with it... well let's just say make sure I'm last on that list...
Inforoo is amazing! 24hours and we're 1/3rd of the way there! At this rate we'll be able to buy enough trees to surround our own Inforoo camping section!
That plaque would be in for a wild ride if it got a weekend with all of us. Fully support the traveling plaque, but if its destroyed or lost it's gotta be replaced
I've reached out to them about possibly incorporating the plaque into the tree site somehow, rather than having one plaque that stays with an individual person.

I've tried to check out the site and it directs me to a password protected site? Can anyone briefly explain the program? I'll most likely donate for my wife and I.
11/2/19: Tool 5/17/19: Blues Traveler 5/9/19: Tool 11/10/18: Tenacious D 9/20/18: White Denim 7/23/18: Radiohead 6/4/18: Jack White 5/20/18: Tool 5/18/18: A Perfect Circle 5/18/18: Alice in Chains 5/6/18: Blind Melon
Weird, it wasn't like that earlier. They may be working on the site right now. Basically we buy a tree and a local company will plant it on the grounds. I don't think we get to choose the location, but they will let us know where it is. We're going for a 6" caliper. I googled a little because I know nothing about trees and I was wondering how big it would be. This is what I found:
Live Oaks are measured by their trunks and the caliper inch. For a Live Oak tree that is 4” in caliper or smaller the measurement is taken at 6” up from the ground. There the circumference is measured. Trees larger than 6” in caliper are measured 12” up the trunk from the ground. The following is a general standard for Live Oaks:

After myself and roofan spoke with ACEnt they locked down the site. Apparently it wasnt suppose to be live yet :-P
No worries, it doesnt change anything we're doing. We still still be able to purchase the tree, regardless of the site being live.

My name is misspelled in the first post. 1st world problem I know but I've grown fond of it being spelled the way it is esp. if it goes on a plaque. It's me across the interwebs.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
