This has mafia all over it. Acting like inspector and putting the ultra-vulnerable LD in the run-off.
If LD ends up in the run-off Boneroo absolutely must too.
Baconus66>>Boneroo
It could be that mafia took some of his wording as inspector hints. But this is fare from solid evidence, as Bacon tends to talk this strait forward and switch votes when he feels he should.
In class can't explain but bone isn't the place to be me thinks
Bacon. ***) mc. ( that's a vote)
This is after the runoff started. He suggests moving the votes away from Bonnaroo and then votes MC. What strikes me as strange is this a pretty big turn about in his thinking. Did the mafia take note of this or did he just have a change of heart on Boneroo? Either way, he post later in the day suggesting a second runoff with Hakuna and MC.
These are really the only people he brought up, which means the mafia through he was hinting at one of these names or they saw him as trying to influence the runoff away from the way his possible given name was voting. Meaning his protective stance for LD and , later on, Boneroo might have been a red flag.
Bacon voting for Viking off the bat. He moved off of him quickly and did say it was because he finds him annoying but it could be something. Bacon jumping on MC but he doesn't really clarify why. He takes Boneroo out of the runoff but doesn't really do much to help his own position in it. The runoff expanding to just about everybody playing.
Well, I originally voted Hakuna because it looked like he was expanding a runoff which had Quacker, Bacon, and Boneroo in it. At the time, I thought the 2 mafia members were Bacon and Quacker, but after Bacon got whacked, it looks like I was wrong about Bacon. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I still think we should grill Quacker a bit. In addition to the day 1 reasoning, Quacker was the other vote on LD (in addition to Boneroo). Even though it was his VP, it is worth taking a look at.
I see Boneroo as the least suspicious. He has done some noob stuff but it doesn't appear to be orchestrated by Mafia.
I have no reason to be suspicious of mc. He mistakenly planted a vote on LD and went to EAP. I don't know why he went onto Boneroo but I would like to hear his reasonings as I don't feel that way.
I'm not going to stack on Hakuna but I do see that his posts could be considered manipulative but his posts can also be considered analytic.
Bacon has been kind of aggressive but that's not too much out of character for him.
Vikiing, you have been pretty intent on making sure I'm in the mix for runoffs. Go for it. I've got nothing to hide and if I get voted off at least I'll know that there's a chance the Inspector is still alive. I'm not going to reciprocate at this time but I'm leaning that way.
As I said above prior to posting my vote for Bacon, I didn't see much to damn anyone in the runoff as I didn't see much to go on. I'm not sure what to make of this yet but it's good to see SFA posting his thoughts. I'm going to wait until I hear what others have to say.

Thoughts?
based on this (thanks for reposting his stuff sfa) for now i'm going with....
Please do not end the round until we have had enough time to digest the tally. I have been too busy to figure out what is really going on yet. How about 2-3 hours, or even better until the morning.
There is just too much discussion and vote changing to close right now IMO
This is leading me to believe that if he was inspector, he would likely have the name of someone not in this runoff. His votes were for Viking - initial vote and Boneroo - in runoff. Bacon had the first vote this game and put it on Viking, saying he would usually vote EAP, but would rather vote Viking and seemed to push Vikings buttons with the annoying player comments, possibly looking for a reaction, not entirely sure.
After one read through, it looks to me like if the mafia thought Bacon was inspector, Viking is the most probable name he had (or they thought he had). Either way, I think that his comment about not wanting the runoff to start when it did is a big part of what got him whacked. Quacker was the most recent player to be taken out of the runoff by LD switching to EAP. I would see it very possible that he could have had either Quacker or LD's name as well which led him to want to hold off on the runoff. Viking coming out and voting Quacker doesn't really surprise me, but I can't help but think this is a distancing move considering how I interpret Bacon's whack and being the first vote of the round. I see the reasoning for wanting to vote MC with Bacons other comment, but I don't understand it so much with Bacon wanting to hold off on a runoff if he did have MC's name and MC in the runoff.
I would encourage some other folks to do some digging, but I think we need to seriously consider Viking and Quacker in the mix. Quacker has a vote so . . .
Obviously I have no day on whether I end up in a runoff or not. But If I go I would be much happier about it if Viking went with me. He's been hounding me all game.
My gut says Quacker. He was all over me in the last round for the tiniest slip up and didn't let it go for quite a long time. Most Mafia aren't gonna whack someone who voted for a mafia member in the first round unless they had a good reason to think that person was inspector, which I don't think bacon hinted much at. So the most I have to go on right now is Quackers overly aggressive style last round.
Yep, I'm usually aggressive when I play. I like people to talk because it helps me to formulate opinions. And I appreciate that MC has been vocal. Sorry if I went over the top. Anyway back to the matter at hand...
First, Quacker, I explained exactly why I have voted for you each time, and you really have not refuted it at all. All you have said is that I am intent on putting you in the runoff. So yes, until you explain some of the issues I have pointed out, I would like you in the runoff.
Second, Mike D; Bacon and I get into arguments every game we play. Literally every game we antagonize each other. It is one of the reasons I have not played for 4 months. In addition to that, I have said in the past that I am not great at picking Bacon's role, and I proved it again this game. I really thought he may be mafia, but the whack caught me off guard and I am obviously wrong. I admitted as much prior to your post, when I laid out my thoughts.
I guess all I can say is that I am a townie. I never take Bacon's first vote seriously, since he eschews the VP system, so I figured his first vote was a welcome back, F U post, hence my response. Bacon then said he was joking and the game progressed. I can see where you are coming from, but I am definitely a townie.
Viking, I don't see one post from you regarding me that contains a question mark. Make up all the shit you want. It didn't work for the GOP last year and it won't work for you now. All I see is you throwing shit around. If it's the meds you got make sure you save some for me. My vote for you has just gotten much more solidified. Just what the hell are you expecting me to respond to? Bullsh*t?
I'm kinda feeling the same about Boneroo, I'm still a little suspicious. But I haven't voted yet because I wanted to see how this Viking vs. Quacker stuff played out.
LD >>> Boneroo
let's see if I feel this way in 13 hours from now.
I feel that Bacon leading the second runoff away from Boneroo, even going far enough to say he wasn't the way to go, would have made the mafia less likely to whack him. Or at least be less suspicious of him being inspector.

This makes sense to me as well. Why would Bacon pull Boneroo out of the runoff? He also agreed with SFA that he wanted to see a Hakuna/MC runoff. Obviously that was probably in part that it would take him out of the runoff and he stated that.

No, I agreed with him. Bacon was the one that said that first.

To be clear, I was going with the choices I had. Not off of strong feelings.
I get that and didn't mean to infer any theories you may have. But your point that if Bacon really was Inspector it would seem to indicate that - Boneroo was not his given name or - he didn't seem aligned with the name he was given - either MC or Hakuna was his given name
You know I am too. I would say this works against the townie's interests, but the townies have won the last few in a row. I don't know if that means the townies have been that good or the mafia have been that bad. I just brought it up since it has been bothering me.

Part of it was bad play on the mafia's part.
Something here seems obvious and I thought I pointed out some of it earlier but people went against it. I'd be really shocked if one of our fabulous lady players isn't mobbed up.
I'm still trying to digest all this, but a lot of what SFA said makes sense to me, and Im not really sure what to make of the Quacker Viking situation just yet.

Then digest it better, noob. I know you are around the board a lot, show that in the game. Post more.
