I just want to point out that Quacker has made it into a situation. I voted for him on day 1 because he was playing a lot like he did in Mafia 50, when he was mafia. I voted for him on day 2 because he ended up out of the runoff, and he was the second vote on LD. Each time, quacker, has gone a bit overboard in his response back to me. Hence why I have not moved my vote.

What are your thoughts on the Bacon Whack? I know you've had more serious matters to tend to but you usually have more to say on this sort of stuff.
i wish i had something more profound to say, but i am going off what always happens in the first round IMO and that is the mafia kills someone they think is inspector.
i am willing to switch my vote though, it just seemed like bacon mentioned MC several times and voted for him.
based on that theory i am open to also voting for these people if you guys think those votes would be better served: viking or bonearoo.
As you said, I had issues to deal with, but with the lineup out, I have been back today.
My thoughts on the whack are as follows. It either leads to me with the opening exchange, or to whoever voted for Boneroo last round (NBF, Mike D, MC, and LD). If he was inspector, he may have been baiting on boneroo, but there is no way he could have known whether Boneroo is mafia or a townie. So I am back at square 1, and I moved to reason 2 for the whack.
This whack could have been just to eliminate an experienced player who is pretty good at figuring out what is what. For example, when I am mafia, I typically look to kill you night 1 when I cannot figure out who the inspector is because I think of you as the biggest threat when you are a townie. Maybe Bacon came too close for comfort, but when is the last time the mafia whacked the actual inspector night 1? I think we need to consider Bacon's posts but also look at this as either a (bad) frame-up kill of an experienced player or positioning for the future.
As I said earlier, it caught me really off-guard, and I did not think he would have been whacked night 1. Bacon was not the most active, so I did not see him getting killed night 1.
I'm curious what NBF thinks about Boneroo, and why he should be considered for a runoff position.
I know I have voted for him a few times already, but I don't know. The more time progresses, the more it seems like just some stupid rookie mistake. Maybe it's the severe lack of sleep, but lately I'm not seeing too much he's done suspicious. Or certainly not in the level of others.
For those who are suspicious about MC, particularly EAP, what are your thoughts on the Bacon whack and him wanting to slow down/change the runoff last round with MC already in it? To me it looks more like that would partially clear MC and the other 3 in the runoff, or at least leads me to believe that if he was inspector, the name he had was not in those 4.

I don't really know exactly. I know that when I read through the thread on Saturday, there were a couple of things that made me a little suspicious, but now I'm thinking maybe I was not thinking quite right.
I wrote down that I was most suspicious of Quacker (mainly because I do think he has made a bigger deal out of things like mc's mistake in remembering who he voted for) and SFA (don't remember exactly why on that either, think mostly game playing style, but it's early still on that). But when I voted for Boneroo, I think Quacker already had his two votes, and I didn't want to stack a third on him right away.
Responding to JRoo. There's a lot of conversation... I'd suggest letting it go overnight, see how much chat/vote changes there are in the am, then setting a deadline. Not a fan of 5 real day 'days' but also not a fan of rushing it. Your call Jroo.

I think if I was Inspector and none of the 4 in the runoff was the name that I had then there would not be much that I could do and I would just sit and let it play out. Bacon moved off of Boneroo so if he was Inspector it would seem that he had one of the names or he wasn't Inspector. Doesn't that make sense?

I'm not too sure bacon was inspector or not, I at lease hope he wasn't. I'm gonna go with the idea that this was more of a move to getting rid of an experienced player who could be a threat, inspector or not. Saying the 4 people in the run off last round likely were not mafia doesn't sound right to me at all.

I don't really want to change this to a three-way runoff and put myself in more danger, but I think there was a flaw in my original logic regarding boneroo, and if SFA is going to lead me into the runoff, I think it's fair for him to be in there too. I can't do that by myself, but I'd rather take my chances by switching than stay the way things are now.
I'm reluctant to move my vote off of Viking but if there is a townwide concencus on how many and who (including me) I will do it. I don't want to just put a vote on SFA or MC and have it all get switched around because people disagree and that's abouot all I can do.

NBF >>> Boneroo >>> SFA
hey. i'm fine with being in the runoff but its a waste of a space. Looking back i see that i didnt make my reasons clear.
Im awful at making posts on my phone and my battery is dying. just got done buildinga de ck on some lakehouse in BFE. will be home in around two hours.

One thing to keep in mind, Boneroo. The mafia's number one goal with their whacks, at least early in the game, is to try and kill the inspector. Secondary goal is to hopfully set someone up and/or somehow confuse the townies. But generally, you can expect the first two mafia whacks to be good clues as to who the mafia think is inspector. But you are correct, mafia also likes to get rid of experienced players as well. Unless that player is showing signs of being on the wrong track or has kind of allied themselves with the mafia somehow.
Edit: Wording.

I don't really understand your reasoning for this, or why you chose me in particular, as there were five other hakuna voters, including yourself.
You are correct. I didn't make it clear but I you said something that last round that stuck out to me and it was in the back of my head. When the second runoff began the ref mentioned he was going to close the runoff after everyone had voted. You chimed in that you weren't going to vote until the next day because you didn't have time to read over, etc. I'm assuming because of work? Which is fine and I've been indecisive and have voted last plenty of times. It just got stuck in my head that maybe you were holding back in case you had to make the saving vote for a fellow mafia that had found himself in the runoff.
As for Hukuna voters, this is all just based on my thinking that Bacon would vote opposite of the name he had. Which I now realize doesn't work with you because he actually voted after you. I wasn't thinking of that when I was looking strictly at votes cast. Anyway, this is the list.
NBF >> Hakuna LD >> Hakuna MC >> LD >> EAP >> Boneroo >> Hakuna Mike D >> Boneroo >> NBF >> Hakuna SFA >> Hakuna Viking >> Hakunna
MC's vote was self preservation. It seemed LD was possible being set up and the whacked player stood up for him. Viking already had two votes. Mike has been mafia twice in a row, so I was giving him the benefit of the doubt at the moment.
That just left you or me. I explained above that my major reasoning was incorrect. The only way this scenario would work is if you were trying to save MC. But I fully admit, their really isn't any hard evidence for either of you. Just guess work on my part.

It was because of work. Last week was a particularly busy time and I realized on Friday that I had messed something up on Thursday, so I was kind of scrambled by the time I left that afternoon.
I reread everything Saturday morning and felt okay about my boneroo vote then, but since then I've been second guessing it. Then I felt pretty good about switching to you, and you come back with at least a semi-rational explanation.
I don't know. I always feel lost in this game when I'm not mafia and/or don't have kdogg to argue with.

I just noticed that the only people talking today are me and the three potentially in the runoff. Are the mafia happy with this and sitting back?
Maybe I was totally wrong in saying one of you three were probably mafia. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Not sure what to do.
I don't think jimmyroo is going to extend it again but this has been my concern which I voiced yesterday. I was thinking about switching my vote but taking quacker out makes it look like I am saving him so I stayed put. The only change in more than a day was boneroo exiting, and everyone has been silent unless directly addressed.

Jimmyroo said Roo time, so we have 2 hours. I'm going to read over and think on it.
No one is suggesting that the round be extended. We are just talking about how it's likely mafia are fine with this. Seeing as only 4 of 9 people have had anything to say today.
LD if I were to switch with you. Who would you choose?
My moving off NBF on to anyone but MC does nothing but make a two people runoff.

If you switched with me, then I'd be voting for NBF and you'd be voting for Bone. Both would only have one vote anyway.
Now that we've moved on, I'm gonna FINISH HIM!!!
LD >>> Viking
LD: Making flawless victories against Mafia scumbags since 2011
OMG I didn't mean switch between the people we were voting for at the time. What freaking good would that do? I meant switch our votes to another player because it would have taken two votes to put anyone else in.

lolol i was thinking the same thing after he said that.
