I saw Billy Idol with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts at a medium sized amp a few years ago. I didn't go in with that high of expectations, but he, and especially his lead guitarist, put on an incredible performance. I second that he'd be a great fit for the Alice Cooper spot from last year.

Their name is derived from a passage from the Virginia Woolf story "The Mark on the Wall" which reads, "I wish I could hit upon a pleasant track of thought, a track indirectly reflecting credit upon myself, for those are the pleasantest thoughts, and very frequent even in the minds of modest, mouse-coloured people, who believe genuinely that they dislike to hear their own praises."
Coral Castle is in Florida. Modest Mouse have a song titled "Florida", plus a shit ton of songs that have an aquatic theme/title to them.

Then I apologize for come off as rude there, it's a great fit for the 3rd line, but a stretch on line 2, and nothing to do with the 1st, unless someone else can expand on it.
Billy Idol was in a band called Generation X. He filmed the video Sweet Sixteen at the coral castle. He performed at the Roger Waters live in Berlin Wall concert.
I like this theory. And in honor of your name coolstorybro... Maybe the third line is in reference to the sweet music video below. Billy Idol injured himself and could only be shot from the waist up. So he's singing on the wall. coolstory

When I got the alert it also said to listen to Roo Radio for a hint and as soon as I turned it on the Avett Brothers were on. (Generations) I've been looking around because I'm almost positive they have a song about marks or writing or signs on the wall. All I've found is Signs which has "signs on the window". I couldn't remember anything directly to coral, so I haven't found anything on that. Collaboration on my half formed theory would be nice.
