Two weeks out from the shows here in Indy so probably going to transition to primarily Phish listening at work for the next few weeks. Getting very excited!
What are some good live albums on Spotify I should download?

If you’ve never heard them the standards probably are Hampton 97 and Vegas 96, at least for Spotify. I really love Boardwalk Hall 10 for the Zeppelin stuff
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

second Hampton 97. the Slave on this one is one of my favorite Phish performances. multiple absolutely insane peaks, and trey hits some other wordly tones throughout. it's hard to take your ears off trey's guitars on this one but also listen to fishman's drumming and the way him and trey follow each other. the change in rhythms and smart drum fills allows trey to go where he goes.
i'll also second 10/30/10 (boardwalk). fun to hear all the zeppelin teases/performances. also contains my favorite Tweezer Reprise on spotify, when trey goes back into Heartbreaker and fishman immediately picks up on it and goes right back in with him is a great example of how closely this band listens to each other and how quick their response times are.
yeah i listen to the interplay between fishman and trey a lot.
kasvot vaxt if you aren't familiar. all original tunes played for a halloween set, many of which are still popular songs in regular live rotation.
7/4/10 for colonel forbins > fly famous mockingbird, and harpua > killing in the name > harpua.
another older one, all the "island tour" shows are classics and on spotify: 4/2/1998 - 4/5/1998.
If anyone cares, 2 tickets for Oak Mountain are available on ticketmaster right now for...some reason. Insurance refund maybe?
good looking out. still sitting their. decent seats but they are platinum tickets. i'm up in the 300s and have never been close at oak mountain but not willing to pay the platinum price to get closer.

If anyone is in town for Oak Mountain and needs a ride to or from, pm me! I'll be driving Uber all night and more than willing to give an inforoo discount from the inevitable surges
Lucked into a $30 ticket lol, feels weird being the most sober person at a show
glad you made it, would love to have met up with you. but i promise there were about a hundred very sober people at the phellowship setbreak meeting.
SETLIST: PHISH, FRIDAY 07/30/2021 OAK MOUNTAIN AMPHITHEATRE Pelham, AL Soundcheck: My Soul, Foam, Evening Song, Thread
SET 1: The Moma Dance > Sigma Oasis, Back on the Train, Dirt, The Final Hurrah, Funky Bitch, Ghost, Driver, The Wedge, Walls of the Cave
SET 2: Evening Song > Carini > Martian Monster > Golden Age > Mountains in the Mist > Blaze On > Harry Hood
ENCORE: Yarmouth Road, Gumbo > Character Zero
Page teased Long Tall Glasses in Gumbo. This was the rescheduled date from the show that had been postponed due to coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak in 2020.
arkansas was fine, it was a phish show, i was happy to be there, got to see some old friends and make some new ones, but Oak Mountain whipped the shit out of it. the band was so relaxed and just joyful. evening song felt like an odd choice for a 2nd set opener, but in listening to the lyrics the last line is "approach the night with caution", and i was like "huh", then they went into a 25 minute Carini. will likely go down as a historic version, never heard a Carini jam quite like that. very spacey and sci-fi-ish, will definitely relisten on the way to atlanta tomorrow.
as i mentioned in the lyrical impulse thread my one wish for this run of shows I'm doing was Driver. it's a song that's been on my mind a lot during the pandemic and the loss i've been dealing with this past year. really didn't think they'd play it, i've only heard it twice, once in 2010 and once at my first shows in 2000. super emotional moment.
To top it all off it was a "proper" Harry Hood. 3.0 hoods don't always hit the peak right, but this was a peak straight out of 1995. just amazing and the crowd was locked in. so i got teary twice tonight.
three song encore. i know people like to talk shit about Zero in the encore slot but it's hard to fold your arms and ruffle your brow when the white lights are on and 20,000 people are screaming the AHHH lines at the end. it was perfect.
almost forgot, first set Ghost was no slouch either.
just fucking killer. really thought they'd save the heat for atlanta but from where i'm standing it's hard to see how Oak Mtn won't be the best show of the southern leg. we'll see.

so that's what that was! I did a lot of wandering around and saw that big group, was real curious but that makes a ton of sense. Glad I ended up staying sober cuz I made an absolute killing after the show.
As a super casual Phish fan, the setlist wasn't really my favorite, but I'm glad you loved it. Carini and Harry were both great, but a First Tube or Tweezer would've gone a long way for me personally. Still, seeing 75% of the show for thirty bucks was absolutely a great decision.
So happy after last night. One first show back since 2/23/2019. Our last show was the day after my bday and our first show back was the day after my Gf bday. I feel spoiled. I was wanting Funky bitch , back on the train , and Carini. That Carini is more than I could have ever asked for. So glad we get two more nights.
phish seems to always play the curtain/the curtain with a few shows after leaving the south. i've heard both versions, typically somewhere in new england.
for once it'd be nice to hear "we follow the lines going south!" at a southern date.
deer creek night 3 set two looks silly. people on reddit complaining their wasn't any jams, which i understand it sucks not to get a big jam or two, but at the same time i love silly phish and the set looks fun to me. will listen this morning, maybe it looks better on paper than actual.
forgot to mention, wasn't there but a buddy of mine was at nashville who's seen phish a ridiculous amount of times said night 2 is a top ten show for him. i listened and concur nashville night 2 set 2 in particular is wild.
mr completely > birds of a feather > ghost > gin > 2001 > soam
the transition from ghost > gin is so smooth it's shocking. and instead of switching to piano page continues to use his synths for the piano in bathtub gin, which absolutely cracks trey up and sounds awesome taboot. highly recommend listening to the whole set if you have the time.

A friend had no ticket for that show. She was outside trying to buy one when an unknown stranger inside gifted her one. She said it was an incredible show. So glad she got in.

for what it's worth, i've listened to every show on this tour so far (except for the last two nights, which I'll get to today/tomorrow), and it's one of the most enjoyable runs i've heard from them in literal decades. this is coming from someone who didn't go to a phish show from 2011-2019 because I just didn't care for what 3.0 was doing.
