i put in for 4 day floors, we'll see what happens. i'm prepared to go, have the hotel and time off booked, but i'm not sure if i'm going to. no matter how you slice it it's an expensive trip, and i've seen plenty of phish this year.

given how expensive tickets and hotel prices are, the travel packages on sale today are actually not absurdly overpriced. you're still paying a $300 premium but that premium gets you floors and a nice hotel nearby.
i'm not going to get one because i'm not 100% in on going but it's an option if you've got the money right now and are committed.

I have always thought the travel packages for NYE were worth it; traveling to/from NYC that time of year is stressful enough as it is. That package is ultimate piece of mind.

nada, was going for a 4 day, an hour of "sorry another fan beat you to these tickets". oh well, at least that saved me from an hour of reading a book, or meditating, or have a heart to heart conversation with a close friend that strengthens our relationship.

i wish i understood how the whole TM thing works. over and over again it kept offering me the same sections and rows. yes i would love to purchase sec 227 row 6 but it's not available why do you keep offering that.

Yeah part of me kind of wishes they would combine the process. Have people select the number of tickets they want and "best available" or "GA" or whatever before getting in the queue. Then first person out of the queue is the only one that gets offered specific tickets so Sec 101 Row D. Take it or leave it, thats it. You either buy the tickets as they are only yours or you say no and you go to the end of the line.
and yes this probably opens up 1,000 problems I don't realize but in theory it sounds good.

i agree. it used to be they'd just offer you the "best" available ticket at that moment, take it or leave it, and you'd just refresh over and over if you didn't like what they were offering you. just talking about of my ass but i'd guess the refreshing over and over was probably rough on the website. and the days of constant crashing during on sales were worse psychologically than what we deal with now.
still a terrible on sale system and there has to be a better way. i'd think if they just let fewer people in at a time it would make things better. it would extend on sales over hours and would be even more prejudiced towards people with the time to sit in front of a computer for a long time, but it would also give bots less of a chance of getting in if the queue was truly random.

July, similar to the last BD just starting earlier. This is one of those ones coming from "multiple" sources but you never really know if it's multiple people hearing from the same source. But I have no doubt they'd like to take the title back from Harry lol.
