The April dates are a surprise, really throws off any talk of late may/early June west coast dates obviously.
Alpharetta 7/14-7/16 still looks solid, as does BD2, maybe the same dates as BD1, 7/21-8/6. Maybe some run somewhere between Alpharetta and BD1.
Dicks is a lock ? Really trying to do dicks and new years this year. Idk if I can swing BD2 too lol
Anniversary shows, prob nothing ?
Alpharetta would be ideal and would 100% be there. hopefully a SC or NC gets throw in the mix.
Oh yeah I'd be shocked if dicks didn't happen. And there are still rumors of Hampton + other shows run in November. Sorry didn't mention those, also im super skeptical of late fall tour rumors always. People say Hampton Thanksgiving run every year and it never happens.
3post1jack1 yeah I got my heart hurt this past year I won’t believe them anymore. Hampton would be sick and thanksgiving would be clutch for pto purposes. Bonus points it’s not too far from Charlotte.

the latest PT scuttlebutt is still alpharetta x3 + BD2, just not sure if BD2 is the same 13 dates as last time or if they'll do 4x4, four four night runs for a total of 16. someone over there is claiming they went to MSG and had a phish hoodie on and an MSG security guard made a comment like "you're early, phish isn't here until July" and also indicated that it's more than 13 shows.
would a security guard at MSG know that phish is playing shows there this summer? who knows in this game of scoops and clout.

again i don't believe any late fall tour rumors until its on phish.com. hampton is rumored every year. only thing that gives a tour around this time more credence is phish's first show was 12/2/1983, so 40th anniversary tour.

Gimme dem dang Hampton thanksgiving dates and I won’t ask for anything else this year. Besides that Lcd/Jamie xx tour

I'm assuming their first show wasn't in Albany though
Though I can't imagine any venue in Vermont having the capacity that'd meet the demand for an anniversary show.

Ha, yup, not Albany. First show was at the UVM cafeteria:
SET 1: Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress[1], Proud Mary[1], In the Midnight Hour[1], Squeeze Box[1], Roadhouse Blues[1], Happy Birthday to You[1]
SET 2: Scarlet Begonias[1] > Fire on the Mountain[1]
[1] Phish debut.
Trey, Mike, Fish, and Jeff Holdsworth recall being billed as “Blackwood Convention” for this show (though no one is certain what band name was used), which is believed to be their first public gig together. The band was short on equipment, so a hockey stick was used as a microphone stand. Between sets, the DJ spun some Michael Jackson and Trey drummed along to the album. The house music (which included more Michael Jackson) was presumably turned up after Fire to drown out the band. The setlist may be incomplete, though, as the master recording contains nothing after Trey’s sarcastic comments about Michael Jackson following Fire on the Mountain. All songs were, of course, Phish debuts. Back in Black was teased before Scarlet Begonias. While this show is often billed as an ROTC Halloween Dance that took place on October 30, 1983, this is incorrect. The master copy of the recording of this show, as unearthed by Phish archivist Kevin Shapiro, contains a handwritten note that pegs the date as December 2, 1983. In discussions with Kevin, band members confirmed that they recall rehearsing for this show over the Thanksgiving Break, and that the show was a Christmas semi-formal. Also, it was not an ROTC-sponsored event; it was a dorm dance in a predominantly ROTC dorm (Mike’s dorm at the time).
one of my fun stats is related to that first show. it is the only time they played "Proud Mary" as a full band, but in Greensboro in 2003 they did an acapella Proud Mary during the YEM vocal jam, so it's a reach but technically that means I'm in the 50% club for "Proud Mary" according to phish.net.
SET 1: Chalk Dust Torture, The Moma Dance, Foam, Lawn Boy, Character Zero > Divided Sky, Mountains in the Mist, Waves > Sample in a Jar
SET 2: Rock and Roll > Wilson > Piper > Also Sprach Zarathustra > Wolfman's Brother -> Boogie On Reggae Woman, Wading in the Velvet Sea > Run Like an Antelope, Carolina
ENCORE: First Tube > You Enjoy Myself -> Proud Mary[1]
[1] a cappella.
Trey teased San-Ho-Zay in Chalk Dust. Instead of emerging from behind the piano with his own microphone for Lawn Boy, Page came front stage and used Trey’s microphone and stand. The move prompted a raucous response from the crowd. Trey teased Oye Como Va and Another One Bites the Dust during YEM. Carolina was played for the first time since November 18, 1998 (144 shows). The YEM vocal jam included a Daniel Saw the Stone tease. Proud Mary was performed a cappella (including renderings of the musical breaks) to conclude the vocal jam. Only one other version of Proud Mary is known – a full-band version at the first ever Phish show on December 2, 1983 (1,371 shows).

the real question: is anyone in the 100% club for Proud Mary?

probably not. judging on how Trey and Fish tell the story of their first show, i don't think they made any new fans that day.

hershey with date TBA popped up on livenation.
i don't think Hershey was ever even on the rumor list? either way when dates start popping up on LN/TM like this it often means an announcement is imminent.
EDIT: disregard this is a bug that's popped up on LN for years.

EDIT: but a lot of people say it's bullshit so who knows.
Wide Spread played there but my buddies and I think it’s too small for Phish. TAB did play there last time they went through Nc. The venue is gorgeous and would flip if they played there. It’s right on the water in downtown. It’s sick. Would love to see it but highly doubt it. But a lot of artists have been skipping Charlotte and Raleigh to play Wilmy over the past year and some change since that new venue opened up.

I'd be stunned if they completely skip New England if they are indeed doing a 40th anniversary run. When they hit 20 years they did a show in Boston at the TD Garden, I wouldn't be surprised to see some NE dates pop up then.
