would love to do those huntsville shows and make it a whole southern thing, but i don't think i can take off that much time from work. looks like it's atlanta and dicks for me, which is what i figured it would be.

Always grateful to have MSG shows. But I will also be trying to manifest a Vegas Halloween Sphere run as an excuse to go to Vegas and see what the sphere is all about.
they just don't sell well in florida. they've done a few miami NYE runs, i don't think they sold out, maybe 2003 did i don't know. they played jacksonville several years back, i think 2015 2016, it didn't sell out.
if they are coming down south it makes more sense for them to start in birmingham, guaranteed sell out at oak mountain. why schlep all the way down to florida to play an 80% full arena.
Only probably going to be able to do Wilmy, but super stocked. The venue is gorgeous. Trey must have really loved playing there with TAB. Can’t wait. I’d love to do ATL but Idk if I’ll be able to swing those as well. But 2 Wilmy shows are going down

For any NC folks or people hitting up the Wilmington shows. Billy strings is playing in Cary the Thursday-Saturday before the Tuesday and Wednesday shows in Wilmy. So we grabbed a Friday night billy show tickets to hit up before we head down to Wilmy for the phish shows. Can’t wait ! Fingers crossed the lotto gods are on our side

i went, it was a fun show. 5 hour drive and i liked the arena.
only negative about the trip is the two friends i was with got busted by a security guard for vaping during the first song. he asked them to follow him from their seats, we thought at worse he was going to confiscate their vapes (it was just regular nicotine vapes) but he escorted them out of the arena. they walked out and as soon as they found a place to sit some random fan walked up and asked if everything was ok. they explained they had just gotten kicked out for vaping, and dude handed them two tickets for free, so they went right back in. so basically all they missed was part of kill devil falls.

Dang that stinks but great they got back in. Luckily hardly anybody likes Kill Devil Falls but me. So sure they didn’t mind missing that one.
Has anybody gone to Phish Mexico or known anyone to go? It’ll fall on my bday for the next 4 years as long as it stays the same weekend. Lindsey this morning was like dang I wanna do that some day. So that’s good enough for a sign of approval in my books.

zero of my phish friends have been to mexico. if my wife was a phish person i absolutely would, but as it stands the cost and opportunity cost is too much. regardless it'd be impossible with my current february work schedule.

one nice thing about alpharetta and dicks is i don't care deeply about what tickets i get. like it'd be sweet to get alpharetta pit tickets, don't get me wrong, but i'm also happy on the lawn. it's also nice to get dicks floors, just cool to have that option, but i'm good with stands as well.
as opposed to like MSG where a ticket way up in the 200s would be a bummer.

i've always had some pretty good luck at MSG - i don't think i've ever gotten stuck with a bad seat

Wilmington is so small that it’s all GA. Finally I’ll be able to get close to The Phish. Well I got pretty close Sunday at Roo but besides that we are always on the lawn. We’ve seen them indoors once in Charleston that was GA as well. Really hoping for good lotto news this week.

same regarding good luck with MSG. having said that i typically get shut out of lotto and public onsale for MSG, so i end up waiting for a ticket at the right price/section to pop up.

looks like last year it stretched over three days?
Just got my lotto email for Charleston. Got my 2 days tickets for 3 of us. GA upper bowl , no surprise on that but glad to not have to deal with that now
If you are granted tickets, you will receive a separate ticket confirmation email for each show that you are granted tickets. Each show will be charged in a separate transaction between Monday, February 27th and Wednesday, March 1st. The charge(s) on your card will be from * Phish Tickets.
so it's at least possible they start tonight, but i'd bet first emails come tomorrow, last emails come Wednesday.
Aka if you don’t hear by Wednesday, you’re not a winner.

i haven't listened to the mexico shows yet, but i love Ruby Waves i'll have to check that out.
They put up the pro-shot video on YouTube. It’s awesome. I haven’t listened to this weekend yet either. But the set lists look awesome and the first songs of each set that they stream on fb were all awesome. Really loved night 2 set 2 / encore Setlist but everything looked awesome.

I got lawn'd on my 2-day Mann, but not too bummed since it's typically a guaranteed quick sell-out. Also put in for a single day on MSG closer and single day Manns - doesn't look like single day emails have gone out yet to my knowledge

yeah i got 10am and 1pm blocked out on my calendar lol.
i feel confident i'll get into alpharetta and dicks regardless but it's always to score in lotto/public on sale and not have to spend time on CoT or waiting for reres.
Yeah I wouldn’t be as worried for Alpharetta since it’s a pretty big venue. The lawn sounds great there too. Sad we can’t do those shows before Wilmy. I am worried since Wilmington capacity is around 7,500. I’m just gonna believe in the positive life force that I’ll get some tickets cause I grew up about 40 min north of Wilmington and this would just be a special set of shows for me.
Gonna have to lay low on summer tour unfortunately but MSG NYE will be happening, unless they give us some fall tour (fingers crossed)
