went to the sphere on Saturday night and wanted to come here to relay the message that if you reasonably can make Phish at the Sphere work, I would highly recommend making it happen as that is the most spectacular place I have ever seen for music and I think Phish will do an incredible job with the venue (though I also think it would be very hard to fuck up).
for seating, I would recommend staying away from section 100, but I think Floor would still be awesome and the other sections should all have full-screen viewing. I was in Section 305 and was essentially dead eye level for most of the stuff on the sphere screen, but I walked up to 400s before the show and that was more than fine, though quite steep.

alright i'm recovering from getting my wisdom teeth out so i'm lining up 6 devices to try to get sphere tickets tomorrow. it will take a literal miracle to get them but since i'm not going to be at work i'm going to try. some people i talked to at goosemas got tickets and said prices aren't too bad but my guess is ticketmaster is going to have outrageous platinum prices

Somehow got lucky enough to snag 4 in 309 for the Friday show! This is going to be wild. Guess I need to start figuring out flight and hotel. First time in Vegas too!

check out hotels in downtown vegas for cheaper prices and a less congested area then just uber to the sphere. the strip has very cool things you should check out but it’s very tourist-y and a lot of people get suckered into paying more money for things there just because that’s the vegas they’ve seen in the movies. also if you’re going to gamble don’t do it on the strip for the same reason

Thanks for the heads up. Luckily my wife has been to vegas before so she knows whats up at least. And the only gambling I do is for phish tickets lol

just checked TM and besides 12/31 which is basically sold out, looks like this will be the lowest attended MSG run i've ever been to. excited.
also the five seats next to mine just popped up for sale on stubhub. with any luck i'll be able to fully lay down on my side on the floor and casually watch the shows through the row 1 chase bridge plexiglass.
awesome, glad they are working with the same producers as Sigma Oasis. my favorite 3.0 record.
Shoot if they put Oblivion and The Well on the new album I’m sure it’s gonna be a ripper. Sigma is the only Phish studio album I’ve listened to or own but I really enjoy it.

I'm going to buy those 5 and bring 4 obnoxious friends, just so you can't lay down.
