Hey can you guys include me in the volunteer list. I'm from Alpharetta GA but currently live in Maui Hawaii but will be flying back for the festival in time. I've volunteered for Roo for 6 years so I'm solid at volunteering. Include Ilovefestys.

can somebody plesase give me some direction on who is running the new group. I might be able to round up about 5-8 local Atlanta people to join who are all reliable if needed to fill out the group.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the more the lineup comes out for this festival, the more I could care less about going.
It is amazing how you can go from the biggest lineup supporter to Ugh the moment you did not get a ticket. I mean, I get that you are not going, but some of us are and we are pretty excited about it.
While I'm not incredibly thrilled with the lineup (so far), I'm excited to be able to go to this fest. The thought that this will be the first edition of this fest in the states also adds to that excitement! I've never been to a fest during it's first year, so it'll be interesting to compare years down the road...should this fest last that long. Also, I've been to Insomniac events (not any of the bigger west coast events, but smaller ones), and it will be amazing to see the overall production that TomorrowWorld will bring...looking at all the photos online, it will be a spectacle unlike any Insomniac event I've ever attended. All in all, super stoked to go!!!

They specifically say there will be over 400 artists there. I really am not too concerned, since that means they have about 370ish to go. Undoubtedly, there will be a very strong lineup.
I still get so f*cking confused when DJ Green Lantern, who made about 6,000 mixtapes I listened to in my teens and early 20's, is on the lineup at EDM fests and the like.
The dude was Fitty's personal DJ during the Gorilla Unit's heyday. Trap music is weird.
I'm out. I was really excited at the prospect of this festival.
Why are you out?
The price had me on the fence, and now that I'm seeing the lineup that is rolling out (I was aware of what/who has performed at Tomorrowland, so it's not a huge surprise to me) and the rumor that there will possibly be in excess of 150k people just starts adding up to lukewarm feelings about this festival. I didn't go to Counterpoint and this was a way to make it up to myself and put to rest the notion of ever attending Tomorrowland proper. I will be looking forward to hearing about people's reviews of this fest after it's over and possibly add it to the roster next year if it hits the right notes.
That and MOEMS looks really killer this year for my fall fest and I can only skip so many classes (MOEMS > TW by a vast margin even though it is only the initial lineup IMHO).
I don't want it to seem like I'm pissing on anyone's Wheaties though, I'm sure it will be a blast and I will have some pangs of regret but it's just not for me...this year.
