Kelly killed it. I have got to see him once before and this set blew the last out of the water. He seemed to be really digging the atmosphere more so than when I saw him at theater type venue.

Let me be clear, I was not an R. Kelly fan before Bonnaroo of 201three, and not even a modern R&B fan either. I went home telling people that R. Kelly was the best set I saw all weekend (even though it hurt me a little to deny Macca that honor). I thought, however, that after a few days that feeling may wear off and I may not be as enthusiastic about his performance in retrospect. I was clearly wrong, it is/was still my favorite performance this year.
