I've seen Dyan about five times since 1998. My best friend is a huge fan and has seen him more times than I can count. I've had the pleasure of seeing him at Red Rocks with MMJ and most recently was a Halloween show in Chicago. Sadly, Dylan live is just not that exciting for me anymore. His band is super tight but his voice is basically gone. I would much rather see a different addition to the lineup than Bob this year. In my opinion, the best way to enjoy Dylan is through the extensive recording archive he has left for all of us to enjoy. Believe me, I hate saying that.
I agree with most of what you're saying Riversideroo. I too have seen some clunkers in recent years. It's hit and miss at this point. Often Dylan nails two or three numbers per show and the rest sounds ok per your mention of his excellent backing band. My favorite 2 shows in recent years were both in Michigan. One with Amos Lee and Costello at Ypsilanti and better yet was a show two years ago at Kalamazoo. But yes the growl that remains works ok on some of the bluesy numbers on Tempest but sadly not on the classics. I guess we're all getting older. Dawes would still be cool at Roo though and yes I would still go see Dylan unless Wilco conflict.
I agree as well. My buddy was at that Ypsi show with Elvis Costell. He said it was a good show. He was front row center for it. I think he enjoyed Costello more than Dylan though.
I'm a huge Wilco fan so basically I'll see Wilco over anyone on this year's lineup. Except Macca and Tom Petty who are both on my bucket list. I'm 99% sure those won't conflict though. I've turned my girlfriend into a raging Wilco fan as well and this will be her first time seeing them. I'm excited for her. Have fun on the farm man!

I would say Widespread Panic will be added(gap in their tour schedule and it seems them, DMB, or Phish are always there.) I also wouldn't be surprised to see one or two major late night dance additions. Starfucker would be great!
Heartless Bastards Death From Above 1979 Bass Drum Of Death The Men Chubb Rock Daedelus Kool Keith Ty Segall Small Black Shout Out Out Out Out Modeselektor Mission Of Burma Matmos Hayden
So, we all know the additions are dropping tomorrow, right???
Forecastle additions have been announced as this week, so I am not holding my breath for Roo additions since AC wouldn't want to steal thunder from one of their other festivals.
Regardless of a What LN not too likely for any band not named Kanye, it definitely would not happen for Sigur Ros. It would just be awkwardly empty. They don't need anything bigger than a tent.

I've thought about Panic as well due to their gap in tour. I hope that will come true because I really want to see them this year at roo. I think the schedule needs a strong jam band like Panic that its lacking.

Isn't another festival promoting that they will feature "Widespread Panic's only summer festival date"? I'm guessing that means they've signed an exclusivity clause or something

I think they're promoting it as their only northeast festival date or something like that. Either way, I don't think they'll be added to Roo

He may have been talking about Wakarusa's promoter saying they had the exclusive this year which turned out to be horsesh*t.

Right, I'm mixing up that and Mountain Jam. Mountain Jam is promoting it as their "only northeast summer festival date" and the Wakarusa guy was likely just trying to get more tickets by saying it would be their only summer date or whatever.

I would totally be OK with Panic not being on the farm this year. I'm hoping for some more LN dancey stuff. Cut Copy would be awesome, as would Empire of the Sun, Yeasayer, or The Presets (who I just saw at SXSW and they fucking KILLED IT). And whoever said that Cut Copy was bad live is a horrible, horrible listener.
Rooin' since '05...(except 2014...worst June of my life!)
"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"

I approve this message. (especially cut copy or the presets). Saw the presets close out coachella a couple years ago and it was awesome.
