My guess is we have three artist additions on the way: one for the empty slot in That Tent on Saturday morning, and two for That Tent late night Friday.
I could also see them moving an act who already has a daytime slot (Conspirator would seem most likely) and booking another act to fill their place.
Bonnaroo sells more tickets. We get more music. Everyone is happy.

If someone hasn't bought a ticket yet and they don't plan to, are they really going to change their mind based on a couple tent acts?
