Ok so how many total additions are we expecting, including cafe acts? This is my first ROO so I'm not even sure what a cafe act is, or where they perform, and for how long etc. I'm guessing lineup additions and cafe acts will be announced separately?

Nobody really know the exact number of adds to expect. It should be a lower number than previous years since this year had more acts than usual on the initial line-up. The cafe acts play in either the Troo Music Lounge (or whatever it is called now officially) or Cafe Where. Neither are very big capacity wise, and you shouldn't expect to have heard of almost any of the Cafe acts because they are not big acts. Lastly, if history holds, Music adds and Cafe adds should be separate announcements.

I believe someone has posted somewhere how many acts are currently on the lineup. If you subtract that from the total number of acts last year (don't count the Cafe acts) it will give you an approximate number of slots they have to fill assuming they haven't added a stage/tent that we don't know about.
If I had to guess I'd say we'll get about 10 more actual additions (heavy on EDM and Jam acts) + all the Cafe adds, but I'm just guessing.

It may just be a matter of semantics, but I don't think the adds have to be EDM heavy. More likely just electronic heavy. I could see adds like Youth Lagoon, Austra (please!!), St Lucia (pretty please!!), Capital Cities, and a Jamie xx DJ set being amongst the adds. All could play the electronic stage and most of them during the day. The initial lineup is ripe with possible electronic/EDM LN shows already. Although, I am still holding out for Cut Copy being added! Thats a near 100% LN show.
An aside about the electronic stage. I don't see it being like Perry's tent at Lolla with a lot of DJs. I think Roo will keep it "classier" if you will.
Hey guys. Was just running through Bonnaroo365 page this morning and saw this. Looks like Slightly Stoopid will be on the farm this year!
Great find. Don't care about the particular band, but excited to see we might get adds next week. Also means (I think) we don't get any names that would be billed before them. I was holding out hope for a Cut Copy addition. Oh well, such is life.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Haha I'll take the blame . I like SS. They aren't amazing by any means, but they write good summer music and have a few really good tunes. Plus they remind me of high school, which is always fun. But if Atmosphere gets added, that's all my fault. Atmosphere is an amazing artist.
Doing a quick glance over, I do not see anyone new, but the names and columns definitely shifted in the last few hours.
Are you talking about the alphabetical list on the website? I posted last night, that's because they took off Comedy Bang! Bang! with Scott Aukerman yesterday.
Avey Taye's Slasher Flicks announced a show in the BK on the Monday following 'Roo. If they don't do any shows before then, the BK seems a little more fitting as a first show instead of a large fest like 'Roo, but it's still a possibility for a Thurs or Sat add.

Were they actually removed? if so my friday has been ruined. this was the comedy show i was going to wait in line to see regardless of who i might miss.

No, Atmosphere is an amazing group. Dude on the mic is Slug, the DJ is Ant and together they make up Atmosphere. You got the amazing part right though, what an amazing duo - don't think there could possibly be a addition (realistic ones anyway) that will make me happier then Atmosphere (assuming they actually are announced).
Edit: No, check that I'd still rather have a Pigeon John add - but I dont see that happening anytime soon.
Btw when did I miss these adds? (Which I might have because I don't check this thread):
Improvised Shakespeare Company, Michael Che, Chris Gethard, Cristela Alonzo, Jerrod Carmichael, Jared Logan, Nikki Glaser, Deap Vally, Aoife O'Donovan, Eric Andre?
You missed those when they added the comedy lineup.
