i'd be interested to see if we can get the "redirect loop" error with a band that we 100% know is not possible as an addition. that would disprove this theory, or if we cant, maybe prove it.

I've tried several bands that have been confirmed as headliners at other fests and so far no redirect error. Kind of strange though (and not related to this really) is that when you put in Daft Punk it redirects you to Yeah Yeah Yeah's. Random.

Anyone find it odd that She & Him are starting their tour in Nashville Bonnaroo Thur, then nothing friday, then continuing Sat in Texas? And their Nashville show is AC Ent. Presents:

Hangout had this happening last year and we found a few that were added, but there were a couple that weren't. Either they were trying to sign them and had a page set up, they tried to sign them and had a page ready and it fell through, or it was a straight up head fake to throw people off if they went snooping.
Either way, it makes sense that SOME of these redirects will be in the additions. I don't know what that means for the ones who don't redirect though. THey could be holding some pages back, too.

The Postal Service is too big to be an addition. At least this year, a year in which I'm expecting the additions to be much, much smaller. I think Yonder Mountain String Band is the biggest add we will get. You guys have to stop giving me false hope on Cut Copy, you can't do this to me (also, FWIW, it did these same odd redirects before the lineup was released).

I discovered this same thing last year.
Turns out it's because the agency that managed the bonnaroo site also managed many other festival sites and share the same database of artist info/pages. it has no correlation to which bands are or aren't playing bonnaroo. :/

Possible Tomahawk add? They announced some US dates in June right before Bonnaroo:
Tomahawk -- 2013 Tour Dates 2/23 Brisbane, Australia RNA Showgrounds 2/24 Sydney, Australia Olympic Park 2/26 Sydney, Australia The Metro 2/27 Melbourne, Australia Billboard 3/1 Melbourne, Australia Flemington Racecourse 3/2 Adelaide, Australia Bonython Park 3/4 Perth, Australia Claremont Showground 3/30 Sao Paulo, Brazil Lollapalooza 4/2 Buenos Aires, Argentina Malvinas Argentinas Stadium 4/4 Santiago, Chile Teatro La Cupula del Parque O'Higgins 4/6 Santiago, Chile Lollapalooza 6/1 Boston, Mass. What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
...also gives a redirect loop. Doesn't seem likely.
However, the daft punk - YYYs url switch is a clear sign that YYYs will be there. A developer would have to switch the URL specifically to do that.
This was an issue for a lot of festival websites this year. For example, when Governor's Ball released its lineup and left one mystery headliner, people were doing the same thing. And when you put in /daft-punk it also redirected to the YYYs.

Haven't been following this thread closely, but Merchandise could easily fit in a Thursday or possibly Friday set, and are awesome.

I’d be pretty stoked if Ben Harper was one of the additions as was mentioned a couple of pages back – I really enjoy seeing Harper live. I am also thinking Matisyahu would be a great addition – no Reggae on the lineup currently and Matisyahu (IMO) is one of the best live performers currently in the Reggae genre – he also appears to have nothing booked around Roo. Someone mentioned Aesop Rock – he would be a great hip hop addition. If not Aesop then maybe Pigeon John – his style of hip hop seems it would fit in with some of the other hip hop acts scheduled to appear – though he might be too small of a name to play Roo…a guy can always hope.
I really hope MGMT is added, I've wanted to see them for a while now. Plus they have a new album coming this June, so it's perfect timing.
They are playing Firefly the week after Roo and Kanrocksas two weeks after Roo so it would make sense.
I am hoping for YYYs, Postal Service, or Dan Deacon. If any of those three get added, it would put this line-up from spectacular to "I cant believe I am going to see all these bands, it cant be real".
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

I am dreading adds as much as I am the schedule. If they add a couple of really solid acts, it just means more conflicts. Someone needs to open a schedule suicide watch thread
You know, they could always really break the mold and not only ditch the Sunday jam band but also the Thursday tradition of only up and coming stuff and make that day like the others. I know, not going to happen but it's a thought.

Funny, I think the largest addition they'll make will be the Alabama Shakes, and they might vault into the top ten.

This. Milk Music needs to be on the farm, as well.
