Don't know if it's worth anything, but Flobots favorited my tweet about me hoping for them to be a lineup addition to Roo, they play a show in Kansas City the 14th, but the next two days are open. Really hoping they could be an addition

Steve Martin has that nice two week gap in his schedule and already is within three hours of Roo. I'd love to see him return to the farm with the Steep Canyon Rangers

Primus has a nice tour sched, incl. a gap june 8-21 after Toronto. I think Primus is probably too big of an add, but something Claypool is looking good. Maybe.
so maybe you guys will appreciate this: at lunch with my daughter, we are discussing roo and she says she's on the fence about going. her actual words: "I'm waiting to see the additions before I decide, since the lineup isn't that great. As of now, I'm more yes than no but we'll see." by the way, she is 12. (and I already got VIP tickets for us both so pretty sure she is going either way!)

actually, thankfully she hates that type of music... I think she is holding out for deadmau5. she does really like The National and is down to listen to a lot of the other artists, she is just more of a music snob than I am.

to be fair, I asked whether she was sure she wanted to go, I just assumed she would say absolutely! we have a pretty open dialogue so she knows it is ok to say what she is really thinking, as long as she is not disrespectful. and she has no idea how expensive the tickets are. but yes, for a moment I was thinking "who are you and what have you done with my kid?"

RANA guitarist Scott Metzger has been another frequent guest at The Duo shows, as well as guitarist Brad Barr of The Slip and Seattle, Washington-based saxophonist Skerik. Metzger and Ween bassist Dave Dreiwitz have been known to join The Duo for sets of Led Zeppelin covers, performing under the name Bustle in Your Hedgerow, a line from the Led Zeppelin classic Stairway to Heaven..... Awesome!!! This is the closest we'll be getting to Led Zeppelin at Roo guys.
