So say there's a band you really want to see, so you get to the stage they're playing at hours before their set to ensure a good spot in the crowd....is there any way around it, or do you just have to hold it all day and not go to the bathroom?
It's good to have friends to save your spot. But if you are flying solo it makes it easier to maneuver through the crowd to get your spot back after a potty break.

It's even worse when you're a girl. I held it for 3 hours to keep my spot for MMJ and I was going strong, then it just hit me. I seriously had to go. So, I start pushing my way out through the crowd, getting the ticked off looks from everyone cause "like what are you doing! MMJ is rocking out and you're in my face!" and I'm exactly half-way through this mess and gotdamnit, wouldn't ya know it, they break into my favorite song (Steam Engine, been dying to hear it live and here it is and I'm not in position!) and my bladder just froze. I turned on a dime, forgot all about that restroom, and pushed my way back through to my forsaken spot (two feet from the stage) and continued to hold that shit until the end of the show! Boy, that crowd was ready to stake me. Pushed out and immediately turned and pushed back through. Ha ha ehhh...
I have absolutely no advice on the pee thing. It's a problem.

You know you can just pee on the wall, right?
Not when you are in the middle of a bunch of people. Walls just dont pop up where ever you are every time you have to pee
I will say that I never really found this to be a problem and drink a good bit everyday I am at Roo. It is so hot that you sweat most of it out
I was just thinking the same thing. I drink up in the morning and piss before hitting any shows, then I'm just drinking and sweating for most of the rest of the day.
Thinking about it now, though, that might be toeing the line for dehydration.

Yeah I average about two bathroom trips a day. First thing in the morning and again before bed. I mean, I drink a lot during the day, but it gets sweated right out. Never had a problem.
