I'm sure it's a statement about the simplicity of this cover vs the complexity of the music, or something along those lines. I don't care, it's a dreadful album cover. Quite a good album really, but I'm missing how this isn't just some 6 year old's MS Paint creation.
^Wow, that one made me chuckle. And you know as they're taking it, they're thinking, "Oh man, can you imagine how sick this going to look? There's a shooting star behind us, a quacking shooting star!"

So what did you think of the Tri Repatae cover? This new one is not a great cover, but certainly not a bad cover, IMO.

Solid colours don't bother me really. I feel as that's not a bad cover, just dull. When they actively try to make something interesting and it doesn't pan out well, that's bad.
Wolf is far and away the best album cover of the year so far.
Not only is it objectively funny, but it gives the album a necessary sense of levity. You wouldn't want to accidentally get the impression Tyler takes himself too seriously.

i get that, but I think it goes way, way too far in the other direction. It reminds me of some of the really goofy stuff you see on Adult Swim, and not necessarily in a good way.
For the record, I like Tyler / Odd Future - but that cover is just a bit much.
